This was great even in the fall and they supply you with a ton of firewood... cheap and they even deliver it to your site... for like $7. I have never seen anyone that generous with firewood. Also, the beach is great.

Horrible place. No customer service. Can't get ahold of management when you need to speak with them. Too bad - beach is beautiful and under the right management it could be a spectacular resort.

Great place for families to spend a week away from the hustle and bustle of the big city. Just north of Huntsville and on beautiful Sand Lake, this resort has all the makings of a relaxing vacation. Quaint cottages, a beautiful beach and just a short drive from Algonquin park!

This place is great sure it's not all grass is cut perfect but it's cool because you get that northern cabin feel in most of the cabins some ate a little modern but really nice. Lots of space and the guy that owns the place is really nice guy. I went there out of season once and he hooked up my family . He had to get cabin cleaned ahead of schedule and rented my wife and I a canoe . In has a boat ramp and a big beach and cool campground .The campsites are really woody and sandy .Showers are nice for campers . Has a road or big trail ( I took my dirtbike) across the road goes into Algonquin park it was amazing driving on that trail well it was more like a an old logging road went for miles into the mountains there. I passed all kinds of rivers and cool spots to fish or camp if your a camp I the woods kinda guy or girl. Driving that road in the pitch black on my dirt bike was quite an experience (spooky) I kept thinking a wild animal was gonna jump out. Great place best beach on sand lake
