★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am a weekly patron at Sandcastle Bowling. The staff and management are incredible and continuously provide 5 star service. It's unfortunate that 2 customers (from the same group) recently posted comments saying that the manager was rude. What needs to be said was that many other customers witnessed those patrons (on Tuesday 17May2022) who were extremely inconsiderate and disrespectful to the business by not following the simple rules (which are clearly visible everywhere) by intentionally throwing multiple balls down the lane when the rake was down (which can clearly cause extensive damage) along with wearing street shoes in the lane.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Shawn who introduced herself as the manger was extremely rude, has absolutely zero customer skills. Loud, rude and arrogant. Instead of explaining the rules, she started yelling and disrespecting our group. There was absolutely no need for all this. All of this could have been easier if she had little bit of politeness and customer service experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very relaxing time! The bowling alley thing that returns the balls kept getting stuck but it was very funny when the worker came to fix it within 20 seconds and she always gave us extra time! Awesome family experience, loved it! ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just a helpful tip to people booking party’s - when paying be sure to double check your receipt before you leave . I was over charged for an additional 4 kids that I had never booked in for which ended up costing me $80.40 extra. Management wasn’t very pleasant to deal with . On a positive note I did receive the over charge back . The kids really did enjoy themselves , but after this very uncomfortable and awkward encounter I don’t see myself returning and definitely won’t be recommending this place to anyone. It’s unfortunate as it’s the only bowling alley in town, but if you want an all around better experience the drive out to Langley or Richmond would be totally worth it

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a birthday party here for my husband! We had a really great time. The service was amazing, very attentive servers. The food is definitely overpriced, but it’s expected. Booths were a bit tight for 6 people. We had to take turns standing.
One thing that was not pleasant is that lane number 9 was not functioning properly. The pinsetter froze a handful of times in the 2 hours that we were there and the balls got stuck 3 times, so a person had to go to behind the pins to get the balls on the ball retriever.
Overall, not a bad place to go to. Just don’t get lane number 9!
