Rude staff over the phone, nasty attitudes and was put on hold 5 times, each person asking me the exact same question. Worst customer service I've come across.

I'm livid angry, so please bear with me...This is long. I made an appointment with Dr Seema Chaudhry 2 days ago for 3:10pm today and called to confirm about 30 minutes beforehand. I spent $40 on uber to get there (because Brampton Transit is unreliable AF). arrived early, presented my health card...and the receptionist informed me that Dr Chaudhry (whom I had a new patient interview with in August of 2017, had seen twice before for travel medicine, and had spoken to about obtaining a referral for a genetic specialist - which she was 100% on board with and told me to come back when I was ready) wasn't actually my family doctor, so they were going to treat me as a walk-in patient. when I told them that they were mistaken (**side note - this is the same receptionist who told me almost a year ago on the phone that my doctor moved to an unknown location and was very rude and refused to give me further details when I asked where she went! turns out, she didn't go anywhere they just couldn't find my file!**), she ARGUED and INSISTED that I was wrong and stated that I probably wouldn't be able to get the referral that I (somewhat desperately!) needed from my family doctor...because I don't have a family doctor at that clinic. and yet, according to my own records, I do. when I told her that I filled out intake forms and did an interview last summer with Dr. Chaudhry, she told me that there are no records of this on my file (**the same file she told me didn't exist, earlier this year**). when I told her that it wasn't my mistake that they lost my paperwork, she said that I had to wait another half hour to see the doctor. but I had called earlier to confirm that my appointment was for 3:10pm and was supposed to be Dr. Chaudhry's 1st appointment of the day. ?‍♀️ at 3:25pm, I was brought into an examination room and left alone for awhile. a young woman in scrubs came in later to ask why I was there. I told her about the referral and she disappeared. 10 minutes later, the receptionist came in and said (word for word) "the doctor has REFUSED TO SEE YOU because you are not her patient and you have only seen her once for travel medicine..." YET: 1. I did a new patient interview with Dr. Chaudhry last August because I needed a family doctor and she was accepting new patients. we filled out paperwork. we talked about the specialist referral in detail. her staff very clearly lost the paperwork. 2. Dr. Chaudhry told me last summer to come back to see her when I needed the referral, because she understood why I needed it and was the only doctor I've ever met who actually heard me out. 3. I MADE AN APPOINTMENT WITH HER RECEPTIONIST 2 DAYS AGO AND CONFIRMED IT 30 MINUTES BEFOREHAND. THEN, AFTER SCANNING MY HEALTH CARD, THEY TOLD ME I WAS WRONG AND TREATED ME LIKE A WALK-IN PATIENT (and, later, like an idiot). 4. Dr. Chaudhry refused to see me after they scanned my health card. so I got up, grabbed my belongings, yelled a little bit about reporting the clinic to the College of Physicians while storming down the hall (and also in front of a mostly full waiting room full of patients), left and burst into tears because I wasted so much time and money to be there only for MY OWN FAMILY DOCTOR to flat out refuse to even look at or speak to me. If I could give anyone some advice about this climic, it would be this - RUN FAR AWAY, AS FAST AS YOU CAN, AND GO ELSEWHERE!

I do have some good things to say about the pharmacy onsite. The pharmacist is friendly, and open. He explained how to use the medications. He has a very caring attitude. The prices are extremely competitive and service at the pharmacy was outstanding. Definitely worth going to the pharmacy. please note.. do not confuse the medical centre with the pharmacy. The pharmacy is excellent... the medical centre in the building should be avoided.

Worst service at the pharmacy counter. Extremely rude and inconsiderate to customer requests. She refuse to understand customer needs and react very disrespectfully to customers. Sorry to say, I had the terrible worst service by this Indian lady at the counter who daringly threw my medication to one corner when I requested her for clarification on the billing.I read in other reviews about Joseph pharmacist being kind. Hi Joseph, if possible please drill some good customer service skills in to this lady's head.
