It started with my prepartum back pains - they really know their stuff and can pinpoint where my pain is coming from with one touch! I also did postpartum acupuncture with them...and over the years, I've come here for common colds, inflammation of lymph nodes, back pain, arm and shoulder pain (from carrying growing toddlers), shingles (yes, shingles!), and even bronchitis and other problems. I've even brought my growing babies here for their colds and eczema. When they treat you for one thing (i.e. say a common cold), they'll ask about your health generally and do a holistic treatment to prevent illnesses and more severe symptoms from occurring! In over 20+ years of trying acupuncture around the GTA, this place is really the best!

They've not only helped me with my different symptoms/illnesses, but also helped my family & friends. Over the years, they have improved my health in various areas: sprained ankle, injured knee, back pain, bloating issues, sinus issues, etc. I still remember how acupuncture have helped with my skin complexion due to improved circulation, so I was camera-ready for my wedding day. Regular acupuncture visits also helped me with easier & healthier pregnancy. Sam took away my pregnancy nausea with just 1 acupuncture session, and my back pain from carrying a baby was significantly reduced after 1 session as well. My husband's golf elbow was 100% recovered after a couple of sessions, and his long-time back issue is 99% recovered. He was not a believer, but now he makes his own appointment whenever he knows it's time for a tune up. SIT acupuncturists are truly genuine and want to help. I first approached them when I was undergoing cancer treatment and the acupuncture treatments administered by Sam helped me overcome the side effects of chemotherapy, recover from a mastectomy and effectively helped my skin recover from radiation. Currently, Sam is helping me recover from fat transfer surgery for breast reconstruction and I can see that the treatment sessions are making a big difference. Sam, Ingrid and Ting are also very warm and caring individuals, so it's like visiting friends whenever I go for a treatment session. I don't think I would have recovered as effectively from all I've been through without their help and support. All I can say is thank you!

I used to be scared of acupuncture but they so are great at what they do that I just lay down and relax the whole time :) I have had an ongoing wrist issue for about 7-8 years now and I have been told by doctors that there is nothing they can do for my pain. I went to physiotherapy for years and my pain always came back. After 2-3 sessions at SIT acupuncture, I saw the BIGGEST improvement in years. Not only is my wrist not as swollen, I also rarely experience wrist pain anymore. Also, if you have period cramps please do yourself a favour and come see Sam, Ingrid, or Ting. Acupuncture is amazing for any kind of pain and cramps you get.
