About Saluté Family Medicine

Saluté Family Medicine is located in the historic community of Bridgeland, which is one of the oldest inner-city neighbourhoods in Calgary. This is the neighbourhood where the Calgary General Hospital once stood and was long referred to as the "Little Italy" of Calgary. Saluté means both "health" and "cheers" in Italian - a perfect name for a clinic whose mission is to keep you healthy so you can enjoy your life to the full. Saluté!

We are a full-service practice of dedicated, experienced physicians who believe in working with our patients to maintain and improve their health. We work together to serve your entire family for all of your medical needs in all stages of life. Our physicians believe in providing comprehensive health care services to our patients in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. We also believe in educating our patients as we work with them to achieve the best physical and mental state possible.

The physicians at Saluté provide shared care, meaning you can see any of our physicians for your appointment. This allows for more timely access and also provides the benefit of having a "team" of physicians care for you and your family.

J	Janet Proskow on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been at this clinic for awhile now, and while the doctors are cordial the real issue is getting an appointment when you need one. Same day appointment? Ha. Their 28 hour work week doesn’t allow for your medical emergencies They will tell you to go elsewhere. So my only advice is to schedule your sickness to accommodate their calendar, preferably 2-3 weeks in advance.

From their prompt and professional front desk and wonderful online booking services. The family physicians work together as a team to support their patients in a proactive and preventative way. I have had the opportunity to work directly with Dr.Dhaliwal as I battled cancer. She was proactively working with my oncology team, pharmacists and would go above and beyond to support myself by researching and planning ahead before we had appointment's. I do not think you could find a better family physician clinic with a supportive and collaborative team culture focused on enhancing patients wellness within this city.

She takes her time to make sure you are in the best possible shape in her care! The front staff is also incredible. Always so warm and welcoming and very knowledgeable!

A while back I wanted to book an appointment for a semi serious concern. I was declined 3 times. I called to find out why and was told they have no more space to take on new patients.... even though I was already an existing/active patient with a file. As well as the fact there were appointments available for booking. I tried booking again today 23 February 2022, for an unrelated and more serious concern I have and was declined once more. I dont understand the the logic. The office isn't slammed with appointments based on what I saw was available today as well as my previous times. Now I'm forced to find a new practice for reasons that don't make sense. Don't be tossers Salute...
