★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love this place! And even though I live an hour away, I make the trip every 4 weeks to get my haircut because of the great atmosphere there. I always feel like I am visiting friends when I go for appointments. The stylists are incredibly talented and super friendly. They are also very knowledgeable and are fantastic in assisting me in deciding what style works best for me and how to best care for my hair. What I especially appreciate is that no product or service is ever pushed on me and if I inquire, I get an honest opinion, which has included 'no you don't need X.' The stylists are also very humble and down to earth. Overall the salon has a very relaxed vibe. Tea, coffee and mineral water are available. The decor is gorgeous and makes you feel comfortable, relaxed and welcome. And the use of Aveda products just adds to the amazing experience (especially the head massage you receive during the wash with products such as Aveda Shampure or Rosemary Mint!!!). At Salon Blu your stress instantly melts away, and you often forget you are at a salon getting your haircut because the experience is so incredible. Highly recommended.
