★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Marriage prep here was outdated - old fashioned approach to handling conflict in marriage. Received much better prep in Northern Ontario. NFP instructors were good, but they should have brought in couples that are more aware about the variety of relationships - not all couples rely on the old man vs woman sterotypes, yet the majority of the prep did. The books used were also outdated, received new material in Ontario.
Edit: Took Marriage Prep course back in 2016 - had no choice as we had to take it in the diocese we lived in when we were grad students at UofS. If we'd taken it at STM would have been much better, but it wasn't available through them. I think the courses were still planned by the divorced parish secretary then, might help narrow it down.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ From Baptism to Funeral Services, St. Phillip Neri Parish has a front row seat to the spectacle that is your life. It has a fantastic community that will nurture you on your journey. My wedding, my mom's funeral and now my father-in-law's funeral was here. They take really creative Covid precautions. It has a colorful & cheery interior. They served the funeral lunch with personal service. The lighting is a photographer's dream.
