We never fail to stop at Laszlos It reminds us of how people worked their heart out and made beautiful custom made wines most other wineries we stopped in are all mainly in showbiseness and with glitz and pomp try tosell 12Dollar wine for 28 dollars or more to snobs Bob Dillon Says The times they are a changing

Had a great time tasting their wines. The Tokay was fabulous! Had a good discussion of wines and his varieties. Found him kind and hospitable. It's a hidden gem.

This is a small winery and their products are not sold in BC liquor stores. The founder of the estate is from Slovenia where, along the southern Austrian border, an area known as Suedsteirische Weinstrasse (Southern Styrian Wine Route) most excellent wines are grown and produced on both sides of that border. The St. Lazlo family then transferred their expertise to Keremeos and managed to develop several lines of excellent, rich tasting wines. I am not a big consumer but always try to stop at their place, taste the latest products and buy a few high quality wines at a reasonable price! They also produce walnuts and hazelnuts!

A kind and honest man who make sweet and delicious wines. It's a small business that deserves huge recognition; this is the best wine I have ever tasted and I would strongly recommend that you stop by any chance you get, I definitely do! Stock up while you're there and he will give you a great deal!

My wife and I just completed a 5 week trip through British Columbia, Yukon and Alaska. We traveled 7,714 miles and saw many incredible sites. We loved it all but perhaps one of the most unexpected and engaging stops was at the St. Laszlo winery in Keremeos. The owner and vitner, Joe Ritlop Jr. and his mother, were a delight to talk to and learn from. Joe's knowledge ranged from wine-making to fishing, hunting and Canadian politics and he delivered his thoughts in a calm and respectful manner. The wine was superb. Ask him for a sip of his special dessert wine made from walnut shells, absolutely amazing. We agreed to return next year for more wine and some fishing instructions!

Joe is knowledgeable about all the wines and fruit that grow on his estate. He is very friendly and showed us the fruits around his estate (Walnuts, Apricots, Radish) he will also let you try his unique fruit liquors. Saint Laszlo is the name of the second patron saint of the founder's home country, Hungary.

Such a fun tasting experience! Joe is super knowledgable and we loved how natural all of the wines were. Really unique wines, and also a special liqueur that blew us off our feet.
