We stayed at the guesthouse with our two young kids and had dinner at the restaurant. The owner and staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable and comfortable. The room was very clean and had air conditioning (helped in the 46 degree weather). The included breakfast was fresh and tasty. They have their own fresh baked bread and preserves which are delicious. The location is perfect for exploring the area and the local wineries. A lot of little things they did, like having decaf coffee available at the rooms (they also offered to make us espresso drinks downstairs), and the owner was very generous about letting us charge our EV up overnight from his outlet (they are planning to get ev Chargers soon but this was plenty to get us going in the morning). Dinner at the restaurant on the outdoor patio was great. We did a tasting too and they had some really nice whites and reds, we took some home with us. I would definitely stay here again next time I'm in the area.

We have been here many times and always enjoyed the food and great service- NOT today ! Something has changed, prices have gone up, server was terrible, the two girls basically stood behind the till and talked. Their β€œ new” menu is pricey- and it doesn’t even mention their sausage rolls. So we ordered two sausage rolls $4.00 each, and a bowl of the daily soup listed on the menu for $7.00. The sausage rolls take some time to warm up, they come and are almost 1/2 the size from all the many previous times we have had them there. So disappointed. Two bowls of soup arrive with 2 very thin slices of bread, no butter. The server never once came to check on us once we were served. Only us sitting inside and two tables outside. They were all waiting while the servers were hiding behind the front desk talking. We ate all of our food and had to get up to ask for the bill. 1. She was given $50.00 cash, then says do you want change ( the bill was $38.69). As been a server for years you NEVER ask IF they want change, you just bring it back to the customer !!! While she was getting the change , we noticed they charged $9.00 each for the bowls of soup( menu says $7.00- which is plenty for a bowl of soup !) she looks confused, goes and talks to the other girl, comes back and says they haven’t had time to update their menu !! Seriously, get some stickers and place over the price while you are both standing there doing nothing !! Then she comes back and say she can take $2.00 off , which means that is $8.00 per bowl- I just said fine just bring our change and yes we left her a tip. So for $40. We had a very overpriced lunch !! Sure not like it was a year ago. Maybe they should just do a brunch and a dinner service, but at these prices and less portions, not many people are going to be going there often?

I’m so glad my wife found this place. The options for staying in a traditional hotel are limited for where we need to be. This is a cozy spot where you can tell the owner’s try to make you as comfortable as possible. From amazing food and wine (of course) to great customer service. Even though the room only has a double bed, you get two duvet’s. This way, you are not leaving your partner shivering in the night. Plus, we are surrounded by orchards and vineyards. Amazing!

We visited Crowsnest Winery this week and stayed in one of their seven rooms overnight. We had the pleasure of dining alfresco overlooking the vines. The ambience was first class and the food really well prepared. The wine went down very well too. The service was really positive. Though I had the lamb and my wife a beef medallion (both excellent) there was the option of a very tasty looking pizza which is prepared in an outdoor wood-fired forno which everyone raved about. The Continental breakfast was fresh and prepared very much in the European way - fresh fruit, cheeses and meats along with fantastic breads which are prepared on sight by the family who run the business. Such a great experience from start to finish which over-delivered, and all in beautiful surroundings.

The off-season price was a great deal, so I went for it. Somehow the booking came up for a day after my intended stay. The vineyard owner was wonderful about that, and got the mistake corrected nicely. I really appreciate the time he took to do such a chore, which solidified him as a great professional host. The room was nice and comfy, clean, nicely accommodating as a good pine furnished vineyard accommodation should be. An additional greatly appreciated gesture by the host was to offer to make us dinner, as there was not much available for dining locally in a snowed -in early January. The host's asperations as a chef were evident in the well presented plates. My wife's lamb chops were just what she wanted. My meal, however, disappointed and is why the four stars instead of five. My schnitzel was, rather than the nice breaded veal cutlet that I happily anticipated, a chunk of gristle that had been run through a tenderizer a few times to no avail. Add that to the undercooked veggies and I sighed in resignation. My hopes had been up. Darn. Well, some anticipations are like that in life. We slept well in a comfortable bed, and the morning breakfast served by kindly staff was very enjoyable, from the fresh coffee to the kiwi fruit. The fresh buns and bread and charcuterie put us into a fine mood with which to hit the road to our next destination. We left content. While I appreciate the invitation to try the schnitzel again with hopes to have a good schnitzel the second time around, I have to admit that I was disappointed that the host never offered to pick up the tab on the next one to make up for the fact that the first one I had was unacceptable and could not be eaten. To accept the invitation, which is appreciated, would mean that I'd have to pay for two schnitzels to get one good one. Admittedly the dog had no complaints, but she likes gristle and I sure don't.

Stunning! If you go, try a dessert pizza, you'll be glad you did. This was one of the best meals we had in town, relaxed and outdoor on the patio, right in front of the rustic wood-burning outdoor kitchen where we chatted with Sasha as he made our pizza. A lot of passion and personality goes into the food here. Wonderful herb-rich dough with fresh toppings, and the ability to customize however you want. If you like soft, Neapolitan-style pizza, just ask for it... Sasha will cook it in a cooler part of the oven for the perfect texture. Beautiful surroundings, being under an olive tree just steps from the vineyard.

Stayed here 3 times now and love it every time. The rooms are quaint but impeccably clean… the breakfast with their homemade bread is delightful and their restaurant that specializes in schnitzel and pizza keeps us coming back for more. Their wine gets better every year and we have an amazing visit each time.

Fell in love with this place. When you walk in it feels like walking into a home. It is a warm welcome. To the left you get the tasting room and a little shop and to the right you get the restaurant. We were sad to be too early for pizza, but their other menus items were so good! My favourite was the schnitzel. I highly recommend stoping by. I loved it so much I asked if they do weddings and I'm not even engaged!
