★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband and I went for lunch here. Been living in the area for quite some time but never noticed it, so we thought we’d give it a try.
First impression walking in, the place was very old school style, which is okay— most hidden gems aren’t the most decorated up.
But to my disappointment, portion sizes are very small here compared to a lot of other Vietnamese restaurants for almost the same prices as others.
For appetizers we got the spring rolls, one of the most disappointing spring rolls I’ve ever gotten at any restaurants, they were flat. Almost little to no meat in the spring rolls— flavouring was decent to what was in there. But I would not recommend getting it for the price.
I got a spicy beef noodle soup (bun bo hue) which did not have much flavouring at all, it didn’t have the right kind of meat that usually comes with the dish and it was served with thin vermicelli (not my type of noodles with this dish).
My husband got the stir friend noodles with beef and veggies (mi xao). Portion again was very small, flavouring was quite decent, but the only complaint he had was not enough and too little sauce.
Overall, this was unfortunately not a hidden gem. Although the staff was friendly but I don’t think we will be coming back to this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The pho was amazing. The broth was great and the restaurant is clean and inviting. Service was a bit slow as it appeared one guy was running around serving everyone. He was great but over worked so you were definitely waiting on any order. Still, I would go again for sure.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food came out really fast, that was a plus since I was so hungry. Our server was very attentive and curious, he made us feel welcomed. The beef broth in the pho was different from the others I’ve tasted, I tasted sweetness. They were very generous with their meat and bean sprouts. The green onion cake was crispy and hot, didn’t like the sauce too much and the salad rolls were good, smaller than other restaurants, the peanut sauce was good as well. If I’m in the area again, I would definitely come again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow, I’m happy I ignored the reviews that said serving sizes were small. I had the best Bun Bo Hu soup I’ve ever had and my wife really enjoyed her Prawn noodle soup. The serving sizes are perfect. I’ve been to most of the Pho places in town and I really appreciate that there is so much more on the menu here, and the service was exceptional with good recommendations. Deep fried wontons were a delicious appetizer and a generous size. Had a few cocktails as well…we left feeling VERY satisfied.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Second place where they served authentic Vietnamese Iced Coffee from a drip container.
Don't be fooled by how little coffee comes out from the container as when you Pour it into the iced cup cup there will be plenty to drink from as the ice melts. The coffee that comes out is very strong so no it's strong so no need to worry about dilution.
I found the house special Vietnamese noodle lacking the (濃 cantonese pronunciation "leoung") deep strong flavour compared to other Vietnamese Pho restaurants.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My fiancé and I came here as the next in line pho place to try. The food was absolutely fantastic with a perfect portion size. Hands down the best pho spot we have been to. It's now become our new favourite spot. We couldn't stop thinking about how good it was and came back a 2nd day in a row to satisfy the craving. The owner is very friendly and attentive but not in an annoying way. Do yourself a favour and come check this locally owned spot out.
