Worse service ever I got from a company. I have a contract with them since three years to be renewed every every year. This year after renew the service and got the money, they suspended the account after two months asking to pay $350 more in order to switch from automatic to manually. Kept asking the CS representative to do it as I need urgent cause I have to catch my airplane, then I’ll discuss this matter later but they are not helpful at all. Not recommended to deal with such customer service

I have upgraded twice, once in 2015 and again July 2018, both times they create another invoice and charge my credit card within 10 days of paying for the upgrade and support . This second invoice is for an additional customer support upgrade or another service not needed or requested. The invoice arrives by email and their email says "Please do not reply to this email. Replies to this message are routed to an unmonitored mailbox". My only option to have the charges reversed is to call the customer support line which leaves one waiting for hours or locked into a 'call back' situation as they don't take direct calls. I tried the online chat, spent 25 minutes only to learn that my options are to call the customer services or email customer service. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. The sad thing is they don't need to be unethical, they have a good product. I will be changing to a different program before the current upgrade expires.

Sage One is by far the worst company I have ever dealt with for customer service. I bought and paid for the 2017 version, then when I had some issues, I called them 10 months later and were told they no longer support that version!! Yes, they don't support a product they sold me less than 10 months before, They wouldn't even talk to me unless I upgraded to the 2018 version for several hundred dollars more. Can you imagine if you bought a 2017 Ford, had a mechanical issue, called them 10 months later and were told they don't repair that car any more and if you wanted to be able to drive a car you paid for, you had to buy a new one.Well, that is the equivalent of what Sage does. Every year, Sage supports its previous versions for less and less time, forcing customers to buy new versions, while adding new charges for modules that used to be included. Shame on them for being so greedy. I honestly don't think they care the least bit about their customers, only maximizing profit while not dealing the the horrible issues and stress their products cause the loyal customers.

Locked me into a Yearly Automatic update and charged my CC without my consent. Cloud 50 with payroll is $812! Note to other users, don't get locked into auto updates and check you needs. One user basic Package is like $400 not $812. Sage auto upgrades you to premium plans every year and you have to call in and fight with them. Discounts or down grades promised over the phone are not executed immediately but stalled over a long period of time. Try to Cancel your CC and they will charge you a fee. Horrible service and horrible business acumen. Try Amazon box Simply has everything with current payroll at cheaper price.

I've been using Sage products since 2004, and until the last few years, they were great. Unfortunately, over this past year in particular, I have issued several trouble tickets that have never been resolved, tried to pay repeatedly for the service which is supposed to be charged monthly automatically but wasn't, was blocked from using my account repeatedly for "non-payment" when they couldn't find the time to call me to get my payment - I followed up on multiple occasions to resolve this issue but couldn't seem to ever get anyone to handle it. Suddenly, they took backdated payments for several months all at once with no warning. I'm done. As a business owner who regularly finds solutions for other businesses, I cannot possibly recommend Sage to anyone. Save yourself the stress and hassle, and steer clear of Sage products.

Sage is a scam. Once you subscribe there is no way out. You have to cancel your credit card. i do not recommend this product to anyone. Do not waste your money. Very poor service. Once you subscribe no one bother to respond your call.

Sage is definitely emerging into a player in the cloud space for small businesses. They are learning from setbacks and it is good to see how the makers of Simply Accounting are evolving.

The automatic and mandatory renewal billing process forces me to pay for features and support I do not use. I got an automated renewal notice at 10:30pm the day before the automated renewal charge was to be charged to my credit card, which is not enough time to cancel the subscription. I have lost trust in Sage due to their sales and pricing tactics.
