Met the owner who was very kind and answered all my questions about the coffee! He made us a high quality premium coffee iced latte with coffee ice cubes. If youโ€™re in the area itโ€™s a quaint stop for an excellent pick me up

Definitely worth it. I'm a coffee novice but I know what I like and don't like. I think it was the owner who served me, he was intimidating but he certainly knows his craft. He recommended me their seasonal Sweet Blossom coffee after hearing my preference (I told him I not fond of the acidic taste to some coffees) and I was blown away. The coffee pour over was not like any coffee I have had before and I will certainly be back for more. He recommended the Gora Kone to my sister as she prefers a more fruitier taste. Of course I had to try hers to compare and it was good also! We very much enjoyed our pour overs and look forward to trying more!

If you love coffee you'll love Moving Coffee. The dynamic duo of Shirley and Edmund roast and brew some of the best cups of coffee I've ever tasted. I'm partial to the drip coffee and how it highlights the unique flavours of their house-roasted beans, but also have ventured through their menu and thoroughly enjoyed everything I've tasted. Plus there's the extra bonus of having Fife Bakery make Vancouver's best breads, hands down!

The beans at Moving Coffee are selected and roasted with care. One can actually appreciate the nuances in aroma and flavor of coffee here, as they are not masked by over-roasting. They have had many different beans, and they have all been enjoyable. This is the only place I can drink coffee black. (Note: they don't offer sugar or milk for their brewed coffee. But, frankly, they're not needed.) My go-to order is the 4oz macchiato; the grass-fed milk with their espresso is delicious. The iced latte is served with a frozen coffee ball acting as ice; your cold drink won't get diluted as it melts. Morning Whisky (their cold brew) is another option, as is a refreshing Cascara Soda. This review is informed by my numerous visits (weekly, more or less) over the course of about a year. I don't live nor work in the area and hence, can only come on the weekend. It's not unusual for me to come both Sat & Sun. (I am actually here right now as I write this.) This is also the place I take anybody who is interested in, or want to learn about, or is already into, coffee. Be sure to talk to Edmund if you wish to know more about your drink. The excellent quality at Moving Coffee is unwavering and consistent.

Need To Know: when people ask me where they absolutely must go to have some of the best coffee in Vancouver, Moving Coffee is at the top of my list. Basics: Knowledgeable, very friendly staff who are always happy to recommend different coffee tasting experiences using their own sourced and roasted coffee beans. Attention to detail: Taking care to provide consistent foundational roasts such as the Phantom and Opera espressos, they also branch out into other adventurous, delicious and interesting coffees giving the customer an opportunity to explore very unique and international flavours. From region to farm to process to roasting there is an interesting and important story behind every coffee. The Goods: The two part "split" is a personal favourite; (1) shot of espresso and (1) 4oz milk based coffee made with the same espresso. A fantastic way to discover the characteristics of all of Moving Coffee's roasts over a couple visits (or one long caffeine fueled day). As a bonus, they share their space with Fife Bakery so there are always super tasty snacks available. Note - Moving Coffee added more seating toward the back of the cafe providing more space for enjoying your pourover, lattรฉ, split or "Morning Whisky"!

Swift overseas delivery and the beans were packed very well. Edmund and Shirley are true professionals who are very passionate about coffee, not to mention knowledgable! Top quality products, extremely pleased with the beans. Beats even the best coffee roasters here in London!

I've been ordering my espresso from Moving Coffee since the beginning of 2020. I usually order the "Phantom" + "Opera" espresso from them. I've tried different espresso's and these are my favourite. They pull beautifully in my espresso machine and taste amazing. Every time I've ordered they've prepared and shipped my order so quickly as well so I've never had to worry about running out before my shipment arrives!
