L	Lydia N on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very low quality and overpriced as well. Main dish does not come with rice and still cost close to $20. One large slice of Naan cut in half is $4. Tikka Masala was very bland. Very disappointing.

We were very impressed with the server through out the meal, ever attentive and engaging in conversation easily. Our portions were plenty and very flavorful. We eat a lot of Indian cuisine and know where the best spots are in the Central and North Okanagan. Saffron, in our opinion is one of the best and we will definitely become regulars.

We got the lamb biryani which was spiced perfectly, the lamb was tender, and the rice was fluffy. Aloo ghobi was great as well with the potatoes having a crispiness underneath the yummy sauce. Palak paneer and butter chicken were delicious, as expected. Presentation and service were amazing. The server was available when we needed but not overbearing. The dishes look smaller than they are when they come out, but the bowls are deep. This was enough food for 4 and pricing was reasonable.

Got the butter chicken with medium heat but the chicken chucks are quite large, samosas which seemed to only have potatoes in it and not much flavor and the garlic naan bread was the best part. We got take out and brought it home only to find there was no rice, I don't recall seeing rice on the menu and thought it would come with it, so I made my own rice and enjoyed the meal.
