BEST pharmacy in Calgary. Erin (pharmacist) is amazing. She is able to multitask and we never wait long for anything. She always goes that extra mile to make us feel like a valuable customer. Staff is also very professional and prompt. THANK YOU Erin and all staff for your great service! We very much appreciate your efforts and service during these challenging times !!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is our regular location for weekly grocery shopping. The store is a good size, with a wide inventory of products. They have a premade meal bar and an eating area in the store. The store is well-maintained and the staff are pleasant and helpful. A nice bonus, in addition to sale items, you can get cents-off your gasoline purchase at the Safeway gas station; anywhere up to 0.15 cents/litre, depending on your grocery purchase amount. With gasoline prices they way there are going right now, that is a nice bonus.

The bakery is outstanding with terrific seasonal options, the florist is talented and a go-to for my floral needs, the manager is a young go getter that is always helpful and says hello and the deli amazing at accommodating shorter term requests and providing great quality and cost efficiency party options. My favorite Safeway in Calgary!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Safeway at Westhills has been around for just over 15 years. It offers a clean setup with an array of take out and hot food options. These have noticeably been improved over my 10-year course of shopping here. Watch out for the sweet and sour pork though for it tends to give me a stomach ache, it is tasty though! There is a Starbucks, Bakery, Pharmacy, 8 checkout tills and a self checkout option, alongside a decent flower shop. They sell cigarettes as well at a good price at the customer service till, these have largely been replaced by nicotine vapes today.
The good, a wide array of products at a medium price point comparatively to the competitor grocery stores. It is also very clean. The bad, not enough customer service experience: my interactions with staff were average and not enough for 5 stars. The ugly, nothing particularly to note! Good job Safeway, this is most certainly a 4/5 star review! However, I prefer the aspen landing option.
