★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I hit up the Starbucks located in this Safeway. The 'bucks staff was great and not only was my order accurate and swift, the batista added a pump of vanilla on top of the heavy cream, which really boosted the flavour.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have no idea what’s going on there anymore. Hey if I only wanted to use self checkout for my cart full of items I better get a discount. Or maybe JUST maybe the owner pat could finally staff some cashiers. No tills open no more business from this guy and his family.

Long lineup to the checkout and only one checkout open at 5 pm. They opened a second till and selected the last person in line .. instead of next in quo. The person assigned to open the second till was inexperienced or otherwise unhappy .. as he was surly and unfriendly ... made numerous errors.
No evidence of anyone cleaning and disinfecting the self checkout terminals between customer (no one in the area to assist customers with self checkout).
The management has failed to provide anything close to reasonable customer service.
They also have failed to train, mentor and coach the staff .... and schedule the appropriate level of staff to keep the self checkouts clean and have enough tills open to service the needs of customers!
Overall they get an "F" ...!
