β β β β β This location is the Cadillac of grocery stores. Even the ambiance is great, the lighting adds to it. This is a great place to get groceries, thereβs a flower shop, fantastic bakery with deli and a made to order sandwich bar. And the piece de resistance is the in store Starbucks. Sure itβs a grocery store but it seems much more than that. Itβs makes you want to dress up like your going out. Itβs got everything a grocery store should have and then some. Staff is friendly and courteous.

β β β β β I am so happy to see that this Safeway has changed their quality back to what it used to be. Their produce is back to excellent quality as well as their hot meals deli, which also had plenty of choices. Even the store seemed more organized, cleaned and shelves were full with products.

β β β β β Lately I've been shopping at a corner store with a small grocery section about a block from home, because it's close and it's not expensive; I hadn't been to Safeway for a while. But my corner store has only a small grocery section, with a pretty limited selection, so today I went to Safeway. Being a bigger grocery store, they had much bigger selection, and some things my corner store doesn't carry or has been out of stock lately. Safeway is a bit more expensive, but worth it for a bigger selection of grocery items, and today was the first Tuesday of the month, when they have ten percent off the bill, so I saved a few dollars that way.
It's definitely worth shopping on seniors day (if you qualify) or on the monthly % off day, if your chosen store has one.
