★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve lived in Chestermere since before Safeway opened its doors and it used to be pretty good. But they have switched away from many brands in favour of their compliments brand which isn’t as good. They never have enough staff. 6:00 pm on a Wednesday and they have 2 cashiers. 14 people in one line… come on!!! Big businesses like banks, insurance companies, telephone companies and grocery stores need a huge wake up call. Stop putting shareholders ahead of your customers! This has become brutal. Sorry for the rant but this has been a long time coming. Get your stuff together!!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ False advertising. They display a sign for buy one get one free but ran out of chicken and didn’t change the sign. When you get to the til they tell you it’s not on sale. All I got was a sorry. Worst customer service. No frills will get all my business now.
