No matter what time you go the store is always like dark?? Other than that, just ok. Another grocery store with a bit of everything. It's good that has a large parking

Today I was there and a man in his 30s who was warking there starred at me and walked through me in a way that blocked my way, he kept on looking on my back. After I finished my shopping I told the story to one of managers and he said he will find out. Later on as I was really upset found out that the guy was not one of Safeway staff although he was a driver of Old Dutch Foods Ltd that been organizing their products inside Safeway. I put his Truck plate here to be a good lesson JM 8376. If Safeway lets outsiders do their inside tasks they better tell them that they should have manners with customrs

They do not honour incorrect sticker prices. 4 times now you have items will sale price in front and then when scanned they come up full price. Cashier proceeds to say (after checking and confirming they were mislabeled) that i have to pay full price. How is that fair?! You shouldnt punish customer for catching YOUR mistakes.

Justin made my sandwich today, he was super friendly and provided excellent customer service even though the line was long. Good sandwiches are worth the wait 100%, he deserves to be recognized for his work attitude.

Selection is pretty good but can be pricey. Under building parking is convenient but why there is absolutely no self-checkouts available until after a certain time in the morning seems completely backwards to me. If you are going in early in the morning it’s very likely because you have to get elsewhere but then you have to stand in the one and only cashier line-up while 5-6 self-checkouts are all closed? This policy needs to be revised

Everything was fine, price is right and products is organized and clean, staff mostly friendly. I enjoy the shopping all the time and the location is excellent for me. Except yesterday, I decided I won't come here again. The store manger(Elliot, I am not sure that this is the right name, because he refuse to show me his company name card and refuse to write it down for me) was totally change my habits. He is rude and misleading the product. He didn't explain well about the egg promotion and provide the right sign for the customers and even the staffs. He didn't explain well and very impolite. He didn't apologize about his fault and waste my time !! I am strongly suggest you should provide a better customers training for this store manager. Also, I think he have racial discrimination against me as I was Asian face. My friend come on the next day and he purchase the same amount of eggs, but no one stop him and also there are no sign for the limit of egg purchased even the promotion is deal on. Why do this store treat people differently ? or they have bad management and bad communication between staffs. How's come they don't put a sign to limit the purchase for some on sales items like Superstore do. If they have the sign and I will accept it, but he still didn't do it. Of course, I will report this issue to BC Human Rights Clinic because I don't want this happen again in Canada. I really hope they can make improvement in customers service and management and don't misleading the product and treat every customers in the same way.

Great customer service from the bakery . I called in and the 2:30pm and I was helped Promptly and I was able to get 2 cakes with writing on it within the hour

My go to grocery store. I really like the layout of this Safeway. I find that I can get what I need quickly and efficiently. It’s always well stocked and the prices are comparable to other big grocers. Large parking lot in the front and additional parking underground (but it’s never this busy).
