Very authentic, home made dishes. As good as what my wife makes! One of the only places my son will eat traditional food. You will not be disappointed with their food. No longer offers dine in, only take away. Food is still the same, very good quality.

We tried this place as a backup, because Taste of Africa in Surrey was not open yet. The price for the portion size was not great. Also, the person did not include any cutlery or napkins with our take out order. They also lectured us to call ahead next time for our 2 orders, bc it would take 25min to make. It was our first time there and we didn't expect to get the food right away. They did bring our order out to our car, which is why I gave the extra star.

One of my favorite restaurants in burnaby. The food is fresh and tasty, and the service is outstanding. This is a family restaurant, the staff welcomed a lot of their costumers by their first names. Mango lassi was delish, bottomless chai!!, etc. plus, good deals for lunch time

I stopped by for a snack on my break at work, was greeted by lovely owner Shairose, I tried the samosas and they were delicious. Will definitely need to come back and try the spicy roti ?

Probably the worst samosa you can get, greasy and quite tasteless. Not sure why they advertise the best samosa in town as their claim, and charge $8 for 3 samosas. I’ve spent time in Africa and enjoyed some of these delicacies in Kenya. None of what they prepare here are even a close memory. They are all poorly executed items on the menu. Meats are dry, nylon bhajia is the exact opposite of its description. Potatoes are thick and the batter barely coats them, and for $9 ??

If you like supporting local businesses AND getting delicious home cooked food at a great price point then this is the place to be. I come here all the time, the owner is an absolutely lovely and hardworking woman and the food is fantastic. What more can you say? When it's good, it's good.

We had take-out samosas and it was a wonderful experience. The woman who worked at the counter was very kind and everything was packed with care. The staff were very friendly, service was quick, food was hot and fresh, restaurant was clean and had a nice energy. I look forward to coming back soon, I look forward to trying more things on their menu. Carry-out was excellent/quick, great for a picnic or for lunch. They offer catering for events too. The samosas had a lot of vegetables and were very light.
