About Sabroso Foods

Patricia completed her degree in Business Administration – Hospitality Industry, from the “Universidad Externado de Colombia.” Her utmost desire to have her own business motivated her to emigrate to the USA and later to Canada. After a few months upon her arrival in the winter of 2003, Patricia started her first business in the Reusable and Eco-friendly sector. Since then, she has successfully been a multifaceted entrepreneur.

Her energetic spirit and humble personality have enabled Patricia to find business opportunities and provide solutions to unmet market needs. Her expertise in the Hospitality Industry and her will to bring a little bit of Colombia to those that have emigrated like her, resulted in the opening of Mi Casa Market, a Latin boutique food store located on the south side of Edmonton. Its success was remarkable! Product variety, elegant ambience, and competitive pricing were its differentiators.

Patricia became well-know for her credibility, excellent customer service, and an enabler for other Latin businesses to grow. She exited the retail business with a successful sale and expanded her horizons to create Sabroso Foods, her flagship brand to distribute Latin products in Canada. More recently, Patricia established Marsha, an international trading company based in Colombia, to consolidate the expansion of Sabroso Foods in other markets.

Also loved the snacks and the vegetables soup mix helps a bunch in the day to day cooking. Some products seem to be available now at the Italian Centre which is super handy for us.
