Apple strudel was not too sweet with decently tart filling. The price was really cheap as an local, non-chain bakery. Will come back definitely.

C	Cyn Thia on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is my review on their pastries/cake. Average tasting pastries, I bought a variety of baked goods and tried them all. Nothing really left a lasting impression. Presentation looks nice however the cakes tasted mediocre and overly sweet.

The sourdough rye bread was not very good unfortunately. It seemed doughy and dense and was almost cold and wet inside and she sliced it without asking me. I did not want it sliced. Thank you very much but I will be sticking with the bakeries i already know and love. Take care!
S	Sav H on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super cute inside and smells so good! The treats look amazing but their looks are superior to their taste, a bit disappointed with the bread and treats we bought. Service was nice and fast. They still German goods there which was really cool! One half of the store is a bakery and the other half a sandwich shop where you can get a sandwich or buy meats and cheeses. Pricing is not too bad considering location.

The breads are all good, with the flavour of the starter coming through but not being overpowering, and the employees there being happy to slice it to order. The baked goods are generally what one would expect- butter tarts, cookies, cakes, etc, and are delicious, executed well, and priced reasonably. My only complaints are that I'd love to see a butter tart for sale without nuts (allergy) and I'd prefer a thicker, crunchier crust from bread that's referred to as "rustic." But that's a minor thing, and I'll definitely be back.
