Unfortunately, there is no mechanism for a would-be refugee to opt into this program as it is typically based on referrals from theUnited Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. Only refugees registered with UNHCR will be considered for this program, and the UNHCR has its own procedure for determining whether a refugee (or refugee family) will be referred for government sponsorship.

We took the afternoon off of work and showed up to the appointment to find that Russ was not in his office. Tried to contact Russ to get reimbursed for parking for him missing the appointment and we were told it was our fault and we had asked to move the appointment rather than owning up to double booking himself. Poor customer service to blame us for his mistake.
