We went there during May long weekend and spent 10 minutes to find a parking spot. It was extremely busy and was told by staff to buy tickets online due to overcrowding. Nevertheless, upon entering the museum there was so much extraordinary fossils that we forgot about mayhem at the entrance. There were many original fossils from all across Alberta and Trex was pretty breathtaking.

Made me feel like a kid again. Amazing place to learn about the planets history, fun and interactive. Most extensive collection of fossils! Everything in this town is dinosaur themed as a bonus!

This place is amazing! You could spend hours here, either with or without kids, and have an awesome time! Ordering the dinosaur exhibits by era was an excellent choice, very organized and informative. We had so much fun here and would've stayed all day if we could. This alone made the whole trip worth it. Will definitely be returning and cant wait!

Fantastic trip with the family. Be sure to get advanced tickets and try to book before noon. It was a quick entry for us at 1130. However when we came out after it was a zoo! Line up was long for sure.

This place was awesome! Haven't been since I was a kid and bringing my own kid along was a fun visit. Kids under 6 are free but they have these fun little guided activity books for 4-8 year Olds. My 4 year old liked it but it's probably a bit better for 5/6 +. We prebought our tickets which was a good choice because when we left they were sold out with a huge line. Definitely will go back in a year.

An Alberta staple! The museum is constantly updating and improving the education and knowledge they provide! I was able to bring some friends from out of the province to explore the fossils and Badlands. Luckily it was not too busy as we went on a Tuesday morning and most of the other patrons were young families. I recommend bringing a water bottle and snacks as they do have a cafe, but it's not in the loop of all the exhibits but at the end. If you're going during the summer pack good shoes and sunscreen! The park around the museum is beautiful but very warm. There was construction at the front of the museum when we went and it was a little confusing to find the entrance but we found it eventually.

If my memory is correct 21$is for adult. It’s a must place to visit in life time. Abundant history and a lot to learn. If you’re in Alberta it would be a shame if you don’t go. It’s really worth it and please go in the morning, evening would be a little rush. The valley is beautiful but it was closed last time I went.

Great place to visit now and then, some of the exhibits have been updated to be motion operated rather than button operated which is a bonus these days! Kids 6 and under are free and there is a kids section with interactive puzzles and viewing gadgets! They are currently building an addition to the front of the building so you will have to walk around the construction area to get to the lobby, which can be a cold walk in the winter. Otherwise it's the same museum it's been for many years, very well maintained.
