the rent manager at this place is not doing her job at all, the roof of my roof is leaking for at least 3 months, and she just told me i have to wait, and keep waiting. and i cannot understand that she had time to take care of the lawn at the front door but she didn't have time to solve renter's problem. And the way she treated all tenants are really unacceptable

Ever since new management has taken over two or three years ago my rental experience has been a nightmare. All issues are dealt with slowly or not at all. Leaking dishwashers sit and mildew until convenient for management. My fireplace still is busted and I have started to deduct my rent cheque on advice of the tenancy act. I get no response from management regarding repairs, just a notice that I owe money on my rent. Go figure. Management refuses to discuss money matters and instead forwards you to an email and telephone number that does not seem to actually reach anyone. So much so that when taken to the tenancy board for a hearing that they didn't even show up, registered mail was returned to sender, no one picked up the package. Living on the top floor is a mistake as all of the roofs leak. I have put up with the mess for 5 years, promised that it will be fixed this time. Both neighbours have active leaks and although leak free for a year I can see leaking spots beginning in new areas of my roof as well. A Neighbor on another floor had the sewage pipe break in her apartment and cover her apartment in - yep - sewage. A week later she was still waiting for the landlord to fix the problem. She ended up being evicted for spreading the word around the building and happily left, ready to dig her stuff out of the sewage and find a suitable place to live. The lady down the hall (5th floor) was evicted for not paying her rent. She stopped paying because the leak in her roof was so bad she couldn't sleep. It was running through the light fixtures in her kitchen, and still the landlord did not take action. All tenants seem to be happy with eviction. Moving out is better than dealing with this place. Service is slow or non-existant and yet the rent continues to go up. I'm actively looking for a new place. The area is convenient and the condos themselves are beautiful but it's just not worth the hassle and mounting price.

I moved out three years ago this past April. I regularly had homeless people on my ground level balcony (3rd floor at back) and many nights I was so scared, I didn't sleep. I made several calls to the RCMP but, unfortunately, by the time they can get there the intruders were gone. When I moved out, my place was spotless and I got 100% of my damage deposit back; however it took about four months and MANY phone calls and several letters to the directors of the company who rented the place. Oh yes, and one report to the Better Business Bureau. I had been decently happy with the manager, Anna, until the point I had trouble getting my money back and then I was told it wasn't her issue. My life is so peaceful now and very grateful I left when I did - before the shelter took over the beautiful property next to the building.
