I am in cadets, so I will go here for range practice some tin I'll go to the one in colbourne for that too also to get tag boxes, and without this or the other legion in my town my cadets probably would have to go to a different range to practice and for tagging every thing wouldent be as sorted out so I thank the legion for this and this place is also a great place in general for the community .

Robbie Burns night was a huge success. Scottish and Irish dancers, pipes and drums, (Flower of Scotland), meat pies with mashed potatoes, veggies, and best of all - Haggis! Then dancing and music afterwards. We all had a great time.

I have been going to the Legion since I was 7. They have a bagpipe and drum band and offer lessons to whoever wishes to learn. The hall is often rented out for public affairs. The Ladie's Auxiliary can be hired to put on dinners and luncheons as well. The adult beverage prices are unmatched. Downstairs, in the adult only section, they hold numerous social engagements from meat rolls to dart and cards or just a good ol' chin wag ?.

Haven't been to this legion in quite a few years. My late parents lived in Brighton, & Dad frequented the legion a lot. There are a lot of very nice people in Brighton, & the legion is most welcoming. Meat rolls on Saturday afternoon at 4.00 were fun. Friday & Saturday nights were fun, enjoying a few drinks & dancing to the music on the jukebox. Someday, & not too far into the future, I hope to visit Brighton again, & most certainly will drop into the legion. Yes, I'm a member...of Branch 147 Barrie. My dad was Ted Aspinall...Mom was Yvonne.
