★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Recommended to us by staff at Fort Rodd Hill, we headed here for a quick takeout lunch. We didn’t know what to expect but were pleasantly surprised. The staff was so amazing, friendly and patient as it was busy and we weren’t familiar with the menu. The roast beef sandwich on sourdough rye will go down as a highlight of our vacation. The cookies delish. But the best were the cinnamon bun bites (can’t remember the actual name). You mean I can get my cinnamon bun fix and not have to buy an enormous bun? Heck ya. Prices were so reasonable too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love this local gem. Stay for a good coffee and a treat or pick up your weekly supply of bread or tasty treats.
Be prepared to wait for a very brief time in line outside as they have good social distancing policies. Line moves very quickly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Always amazing! The baked goods are quality. Can't ever leave without a bear claw. Softest dinner buns you will ever have. Also, the staff are always kind, efficient, and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend Royal Bay Bakery

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I use to buy breakfast sandwiches daily. The last 3 times I was there, the already overpriced sandwich was so small that I questioned it. I was told, that their bread supply was the reason and this was BEOFRE their shortage of workers.
If you want to pay over priced, please come visit this bakery. If not, then you're better off at McDonald's for coffee and better breakfast sandwiches.

We bought 4 different items and all looked wonderful but were just okay taste wise.
Breakfast sandwiches- Excellent whole wheat buns. Vegies were fresh and crisp. Bacon definitely lacking, I'm not sure it was even included.
Apple Fritters- one piece of apple, very dense and chewy, flavour okay.
Bear Paws for the kids- dense and chewy, they did not finish them, flavour okay.
Sausage Rolls- Tasty but small and therefore a lack of filling.
Won't rush back but won't avoid it either.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So much to choose from. Even though I've driven by this place so many times, I've never gone in until today. GEEZE so many incredible and delicate pastries. Took a snapshot of the one that was my favourite. Can't remember the name but they are gently sweet, airy and light. Tastes just divine! The Ciabatta buns were so soft, and the bread ladder was so delicious as well. Customer service was outstanding. I will definitely come back.
