★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went to this bakery for the first time because I was in the neighborhood getting my Covid booster at Archie Browning. I get up to the till and order a few cookies. Only then do I realize that it's cash only and I don't have any. I apologize immediately as the woman at the counter is getting my cookies and tell her I will have to pass. She tells me with a smile on her face, "No problem! You can pay next time." I'm overwhelmed at how nice of a gesture it was and tell her I don't live nearby. She says not to worry about it, I can pay next time I'm around, whenever that is (?!). I was so thankful! <3 On top of that the cookies were amazing. I'm definitely going back soon to pay for my cookies and to try some donuts next time :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Omigosh! I think I've died and gone to donut heaven! The donuts at Esquimalt Bakery are hands down the best I've ever tasted! I love how generous they are with their fillings too! It's so hard to choose a favourite but I'd have to go with Boston cream, jelly or their scrumptious long johns filled with real whipping cream. Need I say more??
A lovely Victoria couple have owned and operated this bakery for over 30 years and I wish I had discovered it sooner! It's definitely a fave place to pop by whenever I'm in the area! They sell out quickly so I recommend going early if you have a particular donut in mind!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Donuts are big and super tasty. Can't go wrong with old fashion glazed and jam filled donuts. Price is very good as well. Cash only so make sure you bring change with you!

Boston Cream (custard filling) - yummy donut. Custard filling was great.
Long John - yummy donut. Fluffy, soft and tasty. Needs more whipped cream filling.
Monster cookie - only ok. Too crumbly (over baked and\or too much flour)
Brownie - not your typical gooey type brownie. In fact it was not brownie like at all. More like a chocolate cake, a very bad one at that.
