Poutine has great cheese curds but the gravy was bland and had a weird sour taste.
Go to Belle Province!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Must try poutine - very delicious. Don't listen to the negative comments below. This is the original poutine with tasty cheese curds and crispy fries. This is not gourmet poutine so do not compare it with gourmet.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gotta say I was disappointed. The poutine was so close to being great but the sauce was off-putting; too sweet or something odd that I couldn't put my finger on. Just couldn't eat it as a result.
Slaw was great and chicken was good though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The poutine is just okay, not amazing. Fries could be cooked a little more, gravy is a little sour. They might have invented the dish but their recipes hasn't changed since 1964. In 2021, the market is very competitive and for a guy like me who's from Montreal, the detour is not worth it at all.
UPDATE: The poutine gave me an explosive diarrhea
