Oh my, the Rosswood store may be small enough it cannot stock a lot of any individual thing but is does stock a lot of "different" merchandise (food) from a lot of places in the world. Needless to say it's an adventure. Next time we visit Rosswood we will definitely find time to visit the store. The road through from Terrace to towns north is long so you will probably want to stop at the store for a pop and some food just for a break. Tell them Toby's dad sent you.

Pure old-world charm with wooden shelves & minimal evidence of plastic. The owner had a lovely, welcoming manner too. Had a refreshing cup of tea & cookies & cake! Thank you for making it the most memorable stop on our 7000km + journey! Say hello to the friendly pooch on the porch.

Had Japanese cooking ingredients I did NOT expect to see this far up north (like nigari, to make tofu with, among other things), some really interesting condiments, ingredients, soft drinks, and a nice looking line of local skin care products.
