About Rossburn Subdivision Trail
The Flying Eagle connector trail will start adjacent to Waywayseecappo FN, towards the far west of the Rossburn Municipality. It will continue along back roads to connect with the RMNP at the Tilson Lake entrance. The new trail will follow a path close to the Birdtail Creek. For generations the people of Waywayseecappo have had a strong connection to the area within and around RMNP with the Birdtail Creek serving as a pathway linking the two. At this point, the trail is planned as being accessible during three seasons. In the future, a portion could also be open for cross country skiing or snowshoeing
