They are both so sweet and made me feel great even when I was having major doubts about my dress. I purchased off the rack and my dress needed a ton of work done. They went above and beyond and the dress fit me like a glove. I highly recommend Rose's if you want quality work done. They went the extra mile and allowed me to store my dress there for over a month so I wouldn't have to bring it home to my house full of animals. Thank you Rose and Karen!

Rose and Karen were both so reassuring and a pleasure to work with throughout the alteration process. Rose advised me on what had to be done and also provided options, with no pressure. My dress fit like a glove and was exactly what I had envisioned. Karen also made my husband and I beautiful masks to match my dress and his suit, which made having to wear one actually fun! My wedding dress alteration appointment had to be pushed back several times due to COVID lockdowns, which meant they only had a month to alter my gown. They reassured me that my dress would be ready in time and it was perfect. Rose knew exactly what to do to make the dress fit like a glove before I even said anything. Wedding dress alterations can be a scary process but not when you go to Rose’s. You can trust the many year of experience and talent she has. My dress needed some fairly significant alterations and you would never be able to tell the difference after Rose was done with it. HIGHLY recommend!! Thank you for making sure I felt beautiful in my dress!!

The dress was meant for a tall woman, and because it was a tapered trumpet-style dress, it meant not only removing length, but also lifting the whole top of the skirt up to the right place on my hips, which was sooo much work and took three fittings! But Rose and her team are experienced and know exactly what you need before you even tell them. They pay such close attention to detail, and make sure that you not only look good in your dress, but that they do what they can to make it as comfortable to wear as possible. To top it off, the customer service is amazing. Since I bought my dress used, I didn't have any of the really nice, well-lit dress shop photos of the first time I put the dress on, so Rose took it upon herself to take photos for me--how sweet! Even if you're in the Ottawa area, I highly recommend making the trip to Carleton Place to get your dress altered here, it's totally worth it.
