On the menue says half chicken, the photo on the menu is half a chicken, what you get is a chicken leg
When I asked the staff they said some of our menus are old!!
The soup was super stodgy
The gheyme stew tasted like the canned ones
There was a bread on the house which was nice but it had a stone in it, maybe it's my luck!!
Took 30 minutes to get our food
The only thing made me sit was the piano that was being played (worth mentioning)
Definitely won't come back here

The place is really nice and the staff are friendly. Their food is delicious, I went there for dine in once during my stay in Vancouver and I ordered for pickup twice.
Totally recommend this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered 5 plates for take out yesterday for invited guests and found THREE HAIRS in the food. Disgusting! Called the restaurant to complain, manager (Said) said he doesn’t accept it and even said quote on quote “it may have been you or your guests who put hair in there”. I have told him that I have pictures but he said he wouldn’t accept it and hang up. Worst customer service ever and no sanitation at all!

It is our top choice for dine in and take out! Thanks to the owner for taking feedback into account and turning this spot to a fantastic place to dine and enjoy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I always prefer boneless chicken k-bab here. It is very juicy and delicious. definitely with hot bread and cucumber yogurt. I recommend Vaziri k-bab , Soltani k-bab and bakhtiyari k-bab.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The worst food quality and customer care I have ever experienced. Yesterday, we have ordered 5 dishes for take out. We were planning on having dinner with our friends. So, when we opened all plates and started to eat we found 3 (!!!) hair in 2 of the dishes. We immediately thew out all dishes and contacted the restaurant. Plus, I (9 months pregnant) felt so sick after it so I threw up. The worst thing came after we contacted the restaurant. Saeed, who claimed to be the owner of the restaurant, did not even listened to my husband and I (we called twice) he kept saying "I am not accepting it, it must have been your hair.." even after we mentioned that the hair came from the inside of the meat and rice ( and we have 4 friends who have witnessed that the hair was in the food) and none of the family or friends have such short hair. So, after this terrible experience, wasted $170, and disappointed guests we have contacted Customer Protection and Food and Safety Regulations. We just wanted to warn everyone and help you to avoid such a terrible experience. In the meantime, we will make sure to share our experience on social media, the more people are aware of such poorly operated businesses the fewer disappointments will be in the future.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On the North Shore in Vancouver this is the place you want to go to for Persian food.
I enjoyed everything we ordered. The "Vaziri" comes with chicken and beef and rice. The chicken was very tender and juicy and the beef was tasty as well. The rice was cooked perfectly and seasoned just right, and the portion was generous and plenty.
We also ordered the "Ghormeh Sabzi Tahdig" which was really well done. Not oily at all, the ghorme was cooked beautifully and there were enough beef cubes in the stew. Loved it. The bread is baked in house and not only smelled incredible but tasted even better....baked just right!
Loved the food. Loved the atmosphere. Loved the service.
