Spoke to the manager about "seasonal flowers" I purchased that died after a few waterings and fertilizer. I put these flowers in 5 different pots where they all died (so it wasn't my soil, it was the plant amongst other plants in the pot). I have never had this type of flower die in all my years of doing my summer flower pots. She said "NO" refunds on live plants. I bought this same flower from 2 different garden centres with the colours I wanted that are alive and doing well. I have had other issues with this location when I went to purchase plumbing necessities where the sales person in the department (brought in the old parts needed) sell me the wrong tubing. I have now made up my mind to shop at Home Depot, just off McPhillips and save myself the headaches.

I wish I could give less than 1 star to this Rona in Gimli. I was in town on Saturday with my spouse, going for a walk and enjoying the day. We did go to Sobies to get some treats and as we were paying realized I really needed to use a bathroom. Oh ya, I'm also 8 months pregnant.... Sobies staff were super nice and were going to let me quickly use there's,(even though it was closed to the public for obvious reasons) but it turned out they were physically locked and only one person had the key who just left the site. I ran over to Rona hoping for a miracle. I did see the sign on the door that public washrooms were closed but sometimes you don't know untill you ask and clearly I wasn't just a random person that wanted to casually use the washroom. I went in and said, I do see your sign but is there any way I can use your washrooms because I'm 8 months pregnant and I don't have any other options at the current moment but to be asking you. Well, the lack of customer service and absolutely cold attitudes I received was just revolting from BOTH people at the first tills. They both turned around to acknowledge me but no "hi" or "how can we help" the guy just blank look turned his back to me mid sentence and the girl at least waited until I finished talking but with a look of disgust on her face said nothing and slowly turned around and walked away. I assumed she went and got a "manager" of some kind because this lady came out of the office with more attitude than the first two. She made me repeat myself why I was there just so she could cut me off and say "you know what, no, clearly they are closed and you cant use them. I tried to ask her for directions to ANYWHERE in town that might let me use a washroom and said she wasn't going to help me or suggest anything. I was trying to still be polite and said "how about any type of wooded area? Maybe somewhere with bushes then?" (Was that much of an emergency by then) and she sarcastically laughed in my face like she was queen of the world and said "NOPE". Her whole attitude was argumentative and negative. It wasn't that hard to politely say "you know, I'm not even sure who has the key for them and just to be safe it's our new policy we cant let public use the washrooms, or something!!! To think I was going to spend a few hundred dollars here on river rocks and gardening supplies. I will probably never shop here for anything ever. Always stick to Home Depot, WAY better customer service, supplies and an all around better experience.

I purchased 3 well pumps within 3 days. All of them went faulty, I even had the plumber call the tech line on the pump to make sure. The tech line told us there was something wrong on the inside and they have had this issue a couple times! So upon returning the 3rd pump and wanting to upgrade to a different brand and pay the difference, I was told there is "something funny going on here" and they refused to sell me another pump! Would never go back here, I don't appreciate the insinuation of being shady and all I did was lose money after having to pay to install the same pump THREE TIMES. It was Red Lion brand.

A smaller store but can order in anything you need. Staff are very helpful and friendly. We also have a bit koodoos to the store manager who gave us the flyer price and airmiles for the purchase of a shed one day after the flyer expired. Great customer service is had to find nowadays but you will feel it here. Update: My son and I went to get plumbing supplies for a water softener. We were served by Jim. He was very knowledgeable about the fittings required. He is a great example of what you can expect from the quality of the staff who work there. I am always impressed with the service they provide.

Most of the time I go in there the staff just stare at me, not really helpful when you need to find tools. Prices are well above average, my last resort when I need something construction or yard related

Fine selection in a smaller big box stores. Patio furniture to paint and stain, lumber and hinges, screws and bolts. Just purchased a 10 foot patio umbrella β˜‚οΈ for $100 off.

My visit was so unprofessional. I walked in ready to spend no limit to renovate my new home. I was ignored by staff at the front, not even greeted. I went to the other desk with a group of men there, and they just stood around talking and laughing like it was boys night.. Reality check, you're at work, serve your customers. Other staff down an aisle saw me and asked if I needed help, very kind. But to everyone else, you may as well not even exist! And save your smack talk for at home, put away your food and do the job you're paid for!! Grown men should know a workplace from a man-cave. Just wow. Thanks for showing me my money was better spent with professionals and not lazy buddies! If only one staff tried to help me clearly, nobody is supervising this store. Thank you to your competitors for giving me service and supplies worth all my hard earned money! My first real Gimli letdown and nobody I know wants try them now!!!

The employees are very helpful. The people who work at the builders desk are amazing. When im not sure about projects that I'm working on, and need ideas or guidance, They are very helpful The guys in the back in the lumber yard keep the place very organized. Plus they help load your vehicle. The prices in the store is very comparable to other stores. In the spring, I enjoy the greenhouse which is on the property..The only thing I don't like, the flyers that come out may not be honored there.
