Rona, as a corporation, should provide better training and think about their customer relations! Junior staff is pleasant & polite, but management is horrible! In spite of building a large, multigenerational house and trying to shop locally, we prefer driving an extra 10-15 min to the Cobourg Home Depot! Rona Campbellford has the most arrogant, dismissive and rude paint manager- or is she general manager? I still have tens thousands of dollars left to spend on paint, grout, stains and plumbing, etc., but we decided to even order bigger items like drywall, doors, waterproofing, from Home Depot Cobourg -Rona Campbellford lady didn't even flinch an eye, she doesn't seem to care in the least that customers are leaving! She doesn't listen to customers, misunderstands, is verbally aggressive even in her apologies, after she's been proven wrong! Her staff apologized for her - unbelievable! Luckily, lots of Home Hardware stores in Trent Hills and a Canadian Tire with great customer service. Even for buying items other than paint, I go elsewhere because it's worth not seeing the face of this corpulent young rude woman! She might not care that she drives customers away, but it makes me happy to do business with kind and pleasant ppl! My family will be boycotting this store until she goes.

I have revised my rating for anyone that saw the original I received what I consider to be poor service on a trip into store for supplies. i have since had conversations with management and received apologies and I believe a sincere response to talk to staff about providing better customer service.

After more than a year of having to deal with curbside pickup from various locations this one stands out for incompetence and indifference - ordered 10 sheets of 80 grit sandpaper for 11 bucks, which said was available on their website. I show up at 1pm (4 hours later) once I got a notification that my order was ready, and the guy tries to give me three pieces and tell me that's what I ordered. After I called him out on it then he says, "well, we're out of stock on the ten piece package, this is three pieces, take it or leave it." Unbelievably rude. Suffice to say I left it. Can't believe the attitude from this kid. I left the same comment on the Rona site when they asked about my recent purchase, so I left the same review as I have here. This is the response from them: "Our staff has read your review and values your contribution even though it did not meet all our website guidelines. Thanks for sharing, and we hope to publish next time!" How happy I am for Google reviews where they don't censor me. Why would anyone waste their time responding to your emails asking about recent purchases if you're just not going to publish the ones you don't like? Order number 17800396

1st time using curbside. Parked in curbside spot-the parking sign says to call but no number listed anywhere. See pic. A year later, i see they Now have phone # on the sign. thank you

Very upset with how manager Tina treated my wife today. She is 7 months pregnant and the sweetest woman you’d meet. She called in to check on an order that had been placed weeks ago to find that when we went to the counter with two invoices they only charged us for the one. She was passed to manager Tina. Tina was short with her, said she canceled our order herself because it was not paid for. That’s fair, but what wasn’t fair was that we had to wait weeks to find out instead of getting a curtesy call asking if we still wanted to go ahead with the order. Bonus this item is now something that is back ordered that they cannot get according to Tina. She called another Rona and the lady there was so nice and helpful. Suggested that Campbellford Rona ask for an inner store transfer but when she called again Tina was clipped not wanting to give my wife time of day said that she would have to charge her extra for shipping. That was never mentioned in the conversation before with the other store so she called back the lady that was helpful. She was shocked and said she shouldn’t be charging you for something that can be dropped off with one of our trucks. She recommended that I call the belleville Rona as they would be kinder and more willing to help solve this problem. If you want repeat customers Tina remember that you get more bees with honey than vinegar.

Great service! I recently took a little road trip to the quaint town of Campbellford to visit this place. I phoned ahead to confirm that they had what I was looking for, which they did. The gentleman that I spoke with was kind enough to set my parcel aside, for my arrival. Thanks to your wonderful friendly service and thank you for having what I was looking for. Great store! Nice town:)

I have always had good service at the service counter, Cashier and when picking up items in the lumber yard. The store is small thus not a lot of varity of stock. They were great during Covid. Their curbside pickup was among the best.
