We used this location for a family reunion. Great service by the manager. This is a popular spot for events, can hold 200 and more people.

A real Romanian Orthodox Church, where you truly feel that you entered the house of God, people connected to their country, and a very nice priest. Unfortunately somewhat hard to get there when you don't drive.

Yesterday, I was passing by the church and saw a flower near the building . I was trying to take a picture when a man came behind me to ask me something. He simply said " how are you" and stop behind me. I said "good, why? " he then started to speak on his cell phone leaving me be.. so I though he was just a random person asking for direction or something. So I went back to try to take this flower picture with my camera... then he "honked" from his car behind me 3 feet away hurting me ears royally, I then turned around angry and ask him what da hell is wrong ??? He answered " Do you have a permit to take picture of the flower? " I replied " What???" He said again " Do you have a permit to take picture of the flower" I replied back.. WHO ARE YOU? What da hell I need a permit for taking a flower? " ( cuz technically he didin't even introduce himself so it's kinda rude to "not" introduce yourself before starting a conversation with someone you don't know but oh well ) He then got angry and start saying that I have no rights to take pictures of the flower and told me to stop right now because he was the Priest of the church ( ah now he mention it ). I then took off my cell phone started recording the conversation ( I have all evidence on my cell of what happen then ) and asked him again, "why do I need a permit to take a picture of the flower? He then replied "gently" this time that this was a private property and technically, people are not allowed to take picture of someone's else private property.. Then I replied back again... so if this is a private property, do people have to pay to go in your church as member? or is it like all other church when people go inside freely, like any public church ? Then he got confused and started saying that I need a permit and there was a camera up there watching me ( like I care seriously ) I told him I study in Law and i know my rights and there is no such things as needing a permit for taking a flower... then he changed his story again and said.. oh if its just for the flower then your fine... but not the church, do not take picture of the church, I got angry and told him ( again for the 4th time ) that I was aiming at the flower the whole time.. then he said something else that there was a camera so there is no problem and he left whiteout letting me finished my phrase... like rude as hell. I must admit I've been passing by that church on bicycle for many years and always though it was a nice and quiet place with respectable people in there. But after what happen, I am discuss. I even sent a complaint to the administration and Ville de Montreal about this Priest and way of harrassing people trying to take a simple picture of a flower. Oh, I've been aiming at the flower the entire time so I think he though I was trying to take picture of the church as well... but it doesn't matter because a "Public" church remains a "public" entity. Meaning no one needs any permit for taking picture. Maybe he though I was stupid or ignorant because I had a cap ... when In fact, I am a University student with 3 diploma under my belt and engineer as well. I am also an amateur photograph and videographer and professionnal music composer. I am no where near the "ignorant" type of person. As you can see, I take my time to write this because I am ashamed of a Priest acting this way ( Oh My God... if Jesus was here... ) seriously, I've been in churched in 25 years and never... I repeat.....never did any priest treated me this horribly. The Priest in that church is beyond un-educated and their administration need to see what's going on with this... mentality of needing a permit to take picture of a flower... omg... worst nightmare ever. never gonna back to that "sectorial-kinda" church. I wish I could a - 10 for this site. Good luck all.

A priest always there for you and your family needs. All my family feel blessed having him in our community, having him our priest. He is very touchable and caring person. All this years always he helped and listed us, he guided us for a good and blessing life. My 8 Ok years old son loves and admire him a lot, because of him my son he is more in touch with God now. Thanks a lot father Liviu, may God keep you in a good health always.
