We stayed here one night july 9 on our road trip across Canada. It took some time to meet someone at your arrival. We had to ring a bell and wait. The staff was nice and friendly. The road to get there is unfortunately not quite Rv-friendly, 8km of unpaved road. But the campground itself is great, awesome beaches, big sites, double dump station. Unfortunately, big sites also mean big walk to go to the washrooms/showers/beaches/etc. There was a surprising number of mosquitos in the evening.

Fantastic camping and Days visitors spot for the family and is also pet friendly. Clean surroundings and beach for a dip. The treeline provides a welcoming shade from the current heatwave.

Being local, we have camped here since it opened. A beautiful campground with super staff. Wifi is great. The first come, first serve booking is great (for most) as it keeps the park from being booked before it even opens. Excellent private park. A bit of explanation on other negative reviews regarding rules: No parking on &/or tents on grass. This is to protect the underground sprinklers that are in each site. The same sprinklers that allow for campfires when conditions become dry and fire bans may be in place at other locations. An added bonus. No driving over 10km. They are very strict on this, but for good reason. Each campsite has bush between with pathways to walk between sites. Kids pop out of these all the time. Please drive safely and realize the rule is for a very appropriate reason. First come, first serve basis. This is to avoid having the park booked so that others that can't book ahead can have access to camping. Seasonal sites. These are not occupying all the nicest sites by any means. It alternates 2 seasonal and 2 day use throughout the entire park. Beach sites are very hard to come by, but do have availability for day use, not just seasonal. Manager and staff are all very nice. If they have an issue with you it is likely for a legitimate reason. They run a tight ship here, but I appreciate it as I never have to worry about my kids being run over or not having a beautiful, well kept, green grass, huge campsite. Outhouses are cleaned and nice as outhouses can be all things considered. They have ventilation which keeps odor at a minimum. Main bathroom, loonie showers and laundry facilities are in the middle of the park and kept nice and clean by staff. If you ever have an issue the park, the staff are more than happy to help resolve any problems. This is a great escape for an Alberta break....

Great campground to relax and enjoy a sunny day. Beach can be a bit more maintained, but overall everything is great. Friendly staff, good site organization, simple, but effective lot delimitation. The most important thing: the site is unreservable, so, based on the weather, you can come or not. Nice playgrounds for kids adds a bonus to this place. Please keep this place clean, quiet and happy. I definitely recommend this campground.

Had this campground recommended to me by a friend. I've camped down the road at Kinbrook several times but never here. I don't know what I was expecting but Rolling Hills Reservoir Campground is great! The sites are enormous and many of them back on to the reservoir itself, some even back right on to the beach! Also being an irrigated campground it is not subject to the fire bans that seem to be so prevalent in Alberta. The staff was friendly and accommodating and VERY serious about the 10km speed limit. The speed limit does seem very slow however I do appreciate the safety it provides for everyone. The beach is huge and clean and the kids enjoyed the parks. If you have a boat there is plenty of space to park one as well as a launch and marina. We will return without any hesitation!

We went here for tent camping during May long weekend (2022). We pitched our tent on gravel. It’s ok, just make sure you have enough heavy duty tarp under your tent. There is no specific tenting area in this campground because it is design for RV’s and trailers only but tent campers are welcome. They will inform you right away that you are going to set up your tent on the gravel. Management and staff are friendly. This campground has a lot of trees. The public beach is huge, if you have any water sports, this Reservoir is very big. Campground has Two washrooms and one washroom with shower. It has laundry too (washer and dryer). Its just that $1.25 for drying is expensive for less than 45min cycle, based on our experience, our two pieces of clothes still damp. If you plan to wash here, make sure to bring your own detergent. Their mini store is not complete for other essential needs. $11 for one bundle of firewood. $3.50 for ice. The washroom with shower is very clean, the other washroom is very clean too and all no smell. The campsite has power but no water, there is a potable water by the laundry room. They are very strict for 10km inside the campground or you will be evicted. The road in the whole campground is gravel so drive slowly. Downside: No quite time. 2am some campers still up and having fun playing loud music. Seagull and canadian geese are loud at night, dont know why. $30 for tenting, power only no water in campsite is a bit high price. Dont like the grass in this campground coz theres a lot of dog poop, the fact that there is a dog beach. Overall, camground is well maintained when it comes to cleanliness of campsite and washrooms, lot of parking space for day use and lots of space to park your tailers. You can lease here too i think, just contact them. Check out the photos of this campground. This is just based in our experience.
