It's a great course for beginners. The grass is well maintained and the price is reasonable.

my friend is a member here and he booked 4 players in one booking. I explained we all live in different household and not comfortable sharing 2 power carts between 4 of us. Asked if only people in same household people can ride the same cart since two of them lived together. The answer was no. I asked the reason why and he said since its on one booking, must share cart no matter what. it is not like I am not paying for the cart but they said one cart is 22 + tax and if you want to ride a power cart alone, they asked us to pay extra 10 dollars for each person who's willing to ride alone. which means they want 20 dollars more for 1 more cart which is a cost of one person's cart lol. Not a smart way to treat customers. In this time of the year, they are forcing you to ride cart with someone who you do not even live with. so be aware guys they only want money.

Wore a tee shirt to play. Starter rudely told me I needed a collar and to go buy one from the β€œpro shop”. Went to buy a collared shirt and half of their shirts they sold didn’t have collars. What a joke. Good job guys.?

Im not sure what’s more frustrating, pace of play or that the staff helped themselves to the cash out of my groups wallet. Our fault for leaving the wallet in the cart, but come on… really frustrating to have that happen at the course.

I like this course (there are 3 courses Bethesda, Classic and Challenge). The Classic is probably the least challenging and the least popular. This is definitely the best value that you can find to date at $39 for 18 holes with cart! The conditions on the course however, have been on steady decline for a while now. Greens are burnt, uneven and have many unrepaired gouges and the fairways aren't much better at most holes. A lot of the members are slow paced beginners and lack etiquette and pace of play. Get stuck behind one of these groups and settle in for a 5+ hour round

Bethesda Course is a great championship course. As of Good Friday the greens have just been punched so not rolling true, bunkers did not have rakes in them so many were left a mess. Still continues to be good value for the money as it is a fun course.

Enjoyed playing Rolling Hills Challenge. Very open, lots of par 4's, maintained well. Tee times are 10 minutes apart and Marshall's do their best to keep the pace flowing. The only thing I didn't like was how congested holes and tee off blocks are. Feels like they jammed this course into a small piece of land. Overall fun to play.
