C	ChelSea on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food is pretty good and the servers are always nice. My favourite meal is the Yorkshire puddings. I had the fish burgers the last time I went and found it a little bland. My partner had the beef dip and thought it was really good. They have a lovely patio you can sit out on in the summer with a pond and fountain in it and this very unique, beautiful tree. I have sat on the bar side once or twice and it can be fun with music. You should give it a try.

They have daily specials which like their regular prices offerings were quite reasonable. The building itself is a wonderful step back in history. Service was excellent. If one is in the neighborhood, I don't think one would be disappointed.

Had the Yorkshire sliders (amazing) and our server (didn't get her name) was THE BEST! She was running on overdrive as the place was pretty full but gave us excellent and fast service! My new local "go to" place for a great lunch. I'm sure dinner is just as good. Forget the fancy and overpriced places and go to the Rod & Gun, you won't regret it.

So this evening I went there and had a seat where I could see the entire restaurant and bar and noticed there was only one server that was serving about 14 tables. She was doing an amazing job and I told her so. Everyone was getting their food and drinks and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. I ordered the seafood chowder to start and it was delicious. I had eaten in another higher end restaurant the night before and their seafood chowder was so disappointing and cost much more than the chowder at R&G. I also order their Stuffed Yorkshire Sliders. How have I never heard of such a thing until now? These were amazing! So much flavour from the gravy and the sliced roast beef! It was truly a meal one has to try for themselves to realize that this is what’s missing from other pubs’ menus! All in all it was a fantastic experience and I will remember Rod & Gun for the next time I travel up Island!

It's like a trip down memory lane to what salons of the past were like. Locals hanging out laughing drinking and having a great time. Love all the history on the walls. Also a great spot to get blackout wasted and make out with randoms. Love the gun //
