Rick did a great job of capturing my tribute to my Father and two of my Uncles. The only complaint I could put forth is the shop is hard to get a hold of on the phone. Otherwise it gets a 5*.

Every one of my experiences at Rocky Mountain Tattoo has been an INCREDIBLE one! I’m blown away by the friendly personalities of all the staff, the shop is always CLEAN & the vibe is awesome! I love seeing Kevin’s smile (now eyes... masks?) when I walk through the door- super welcoming front end! An extra huge THANK YOU to Lee & Scottie for helping me “decorate” my body! Can’t wait for my next appointment!!!

Scott is an amazing artist and he is so worth the wait! we have started my sleeve and I am beyond impressed with his work. He truly did an amazing job in bringing my ideas to life. Will definitely update when my work is completed. Tattoo shop is super clean, friendly and down to earth staff.

My experience with Scotty at Rocky Mountain Tattoo was excellent. Scotty is a super talented artist, absolutely nailed my American Traditional piece and does amazing realism! Scotty is also a great conversationalist!

Took me longer to google the 3 images then it did to talk them about what I wanted done with them. All he wanted to do was copy and paste it, not being a real artist. As well if I had booked there was no refund if I were to cancel the appointment.

Clean friendly environment. We booked in advance for a Saturday afternoon they fit my wife and I in for a couple quick tattoos. Definitely would recommend.

This place is awesome, always a good vibe in there. Terry inked my whole head, I took basic ideas to him and let him run with it. The final product is wicked, I couldn’t be happier and that’s why I only hit this shop. I do plan to get work done by every artist there as they are amazing and have their own styles. I recommend Rocky Mountain Tattoo to everyone that asks where I got my work done. So if you are looking for some wicked art, hit this shop up. Thanks for everything so far guys and you’ll be seeing a lot of me.

Would absolutely not recommend. I needed a tattoo cover up (my Deathly Hallows tattoo has aged poorly) and wanted a nice floral work over top. Rocky Mountain Tattoo's website recommends Rick for cover up work, so I submitted a form with a picture of my tattoo and a few photos of the kind of design I was looking for. When I arrived for my scheduled consult appointment, the person behind the counter asked me to wait and they would let Rick know I was there. Awesome, no worries. So I'm browsing the waiting area and then I hear this sort of grunting behind me? I guess Rick was waiting for me to notice his arrival, as he certainly couldn't be bothered to call my name. He told me to show him the tattoo I wanted covered up. Bit awkward, since it's on the back of my leg and I wasn't taken in the back or offered a place to sit. I managed. After discussing the need for a laser removal treatment first, I asked whether Rick had taken a look at the designs I sent in. I was sort of hoping he'd start on a design or maybe even had already. Instead, Rick said, in a deeply uninterested tone, something like, "Oh yeah I saw those. I hate doing flowers." An anti-flower sentiment he repeated again in the very short conversation following, before I left. Wow. Really confidence inspiring. Certainly what I want to hear from the artist I hoped would permanently ink a nice, vibrant lilac on my skin. Again, my request had been sent in via email several days before. If Rick was so opposed to what is frankly a very common tattoo request, he could have asked a different artist in the studio to step in. I don't trust a studio that treats me this way. It was rude. I feel that it is very important to have a good relationship with a tattoo artist, and I am honestly shocked that any professional tattoo artist would rather speak to a potential client this way rather than, at the very least, suggest an artist better suited to the job.
