Very friendly and helpful staff! They have a large selection of soil and mixes at great prices. The only place I will purchase soil mixes, trees or shrubs in the future.

Truly enjoyed our time today at Rockwood Forest, ended up purchasing two exceptional large stock Heritage Birch and a stunning large Katsura Tree. We were promptly greeted, service was incredible. We even spent a short time with the new owner, wonderful man - Truly enjoyed the experience. Buying a single tree or a few as we did, these are investments that will bring many years of wonderful memories. Making sure you were sold solid and strong stock from the beginning is the key! Wayne was over the top fun to work with!

Anita is fabulous and helped us find the right vegetable producers for a limited space. Brenda was also great and guided me to the hardiest and most reliable apple tree. Santosh is a real gentleman, and should be praised for helping a second year with the Seed-it program, designed to encourage local gardening and production of edible plantings. A note re recent review concerning failed expectation for a full year warranty on new trees, given verbally; this past winter ice was brutal in Jan and Feb, and many new plantings failed. Never received a one year unlimited warranty on trees in Canada, typically only 3-6 months. Longer terms are generally only against disease. And you need a writing....

I never like to give a negative review unless I feel that others should know “buyer beware”! My husband and I had wonderful service there last year with the purchase a some trees and shrubs for our newly built home. We discussed location, where the sun hits certain areas during the day, height & placement. This gentleman was excellent with us and he even upsold us a few extra items so we spent alot of money that day and left extremely happy. Now during our conversation we specifically asked about the warranty on all the items purchased and we were very pleased to know that yes we had a 1 warranty! Well it is nowhere near a year yet and one of our trees have sadly not survived over the winter season, so we called to let them know about our tree and would simply like to exchange it. However not the case!! The lady on the phone told us that there was absolutely no warranty on our tree and I had told her that we had the paperwork, receipt & conversation with the gentleman who served us and he even stressed that should there be an issue feel free to contact them and they would happily exchange within the 1 year time frame. We are so disappointed and angry to know that we were told yes only to find out that “most definitely not is there any warranty”! And to be cut off mid sentence!! A piece of advice …. Make sure your staff is crystal clear on what your warranty policies are because we will not be returning. As mentioned we did have great customer service “That Day”, however we will not be returning knowing that you DO NOT WARRANTY your products. I wish this was properly communicated with us prior to purchase!

Just got some Shrimp and Peat Moss Compost excellent quality. Great price. Can't wait to top up all my flower beds. Knowing my plants will thrive this season. Thank you Rockwood ?

What a find! Very large assortment of well-cared for plants and trees, efficiently run. The owner helped us select and load cedars, making sure we understood planting instructions. I was able to purchase fewer trees than I came for because they were so big and full. Will return for other garden plantables.

Amazing selection to choose from. Very helpful and knowledgeable. Answerd every question we had about picking out our Autumn Blaze Maple. Owner is very pleasant and easy to deal with. Rob was fantastic taking care of our tree loading it and wrapping it for safe travel. Step by step instructions on how to plant and care for the tree for many years to come. Absolutely recommend Rockwood in a heart beat. Thank you Guys.

Great experience shopping for shrubs and perennials. Brenda took the time to bring us through the nursery to suggest plants we may want for our project and others that would not work. She was super helpful and friendly and made what could have been stressful, a very enjoyable experience.
