★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Older building. Run down appearance. You often see rows and rows of older people in wheelchairs just sitting in the hallways for hours at a time (go to floor 3, or floor 2). They just sit there, asleep, in pain, uncomfortable. No stimulation.
Staff seldom clean rooms, and bedding daily. We've observed specific bits of trash remaining on the floor for 4-5 days.
Regardless of if a person is in pain/sick etc, they are forced to sit in a wheelchair everyday.
Diapers are changed once or twice a day...staff have to be begged to change it.
Staff can make mistakes with medication and dialysis, so family members should be aware of specific medical directions, medicine etc
Tips: bring your own tv, pay for cable..whatever to keep your elderly loved one entertained.
Staff are pretty clueless overall.
Older filipino male nurse on 3rd floor is awful.

Her roommate is so sick the room is quarantined the staff enters the closed door only with protective gear and yet my mother is still locked up in that room with her without any protection. When I discussed my concerns with the administration they told me they had no recourse as they have no space. Deeply concerned daughter

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is disgraceful. Poorly maintained, overcrowded, patients sitting for hours in hallways, no private space. The washroom in my sister's room doesn't have a washbasin; you have to leave the toilet room and wash hands in the basin in the patient's room. Even as you enter the front door the steps are broken, cigarette butts around.
So bad I don't know how this passes inspection. This is no way to treat vulnerable seniors. I would not give it a star at all if I could do so.
