★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had Maarten as our guide and honestly it was the best experience ever. He was so good at explaining the technical procedure it made climbing a breeze. He was friendly and patient and well educated and definitely knew his stuff. I learnt a lot and would give him a 6 star review if I could. Rockaboo is well worth the money.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just spent a fabulous couple of weekends with Rockaboo’s Rock Climbing Fundamentals 1 and 2! I would highly recommend this course to anyone looking to learn how to climb.
Our instructors, Francois and Brooklyn, were a great team - fun, patient, knowledgeable and well prepared. I felt encouraged and supported the whole way through. Information was very well presented and opportunity was given to practice each new skill. I appreciated the emphasis on safety that was a major part of both courses.

He took the time to teach my buddies and I about all of the technical skills we would need on the glacier and hit the perfect balance of safety and letting us push our limits. Absolutely would take any of the training programs Rockaboo has to offer. Thanks for everything!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a blast rappelling down into maligne canyon and getting a magnificent new view of a favorite spot in the canadian rockies. Our guide Jesse made sure all four of us as first time ice climbers were well aware of how all the safety equipment worked with fantastic hands on instruction and really cool demonstrations. Really great trip for anyone looking to have a one of a kind experience in maligne canyon. The entire trip from leaving the parking lot to getting back was full of excitement and beautiful sights. Highly recommend the experience ice climbing trip! Or any tour with this company!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We booked a private tour with Rockaboo and we had Francois as our guide. Honestly, we couldn’t have asked for any more. Both me and my partner are relatively fit/active but had no prior climbing experience. Francois took us to a new climbing area he has been working on with his friends, about 20 minutes out of Jasper. There was not one other person around which was amazing. We spent the day climbing and abseiling. Francois was helpful, encouraging and supportive and you always felt self. It was a great way to experience the rockies from a slightly different view! We also saw a bit of wildlife throughout the day (elk, sheep, prior dogs and cute chipmunks). Francois even dropped us back off at our hotel on Pyramid Lake at the end of the day. Would highly recommend.
