R	Richard Bagby on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were planning on using the lodge as our base for exploring Jasper Park. The lodge website states that it is 90 minutes from Jasper but it took us two hours each trip just to get to the town. Closer to 3 hours to get to a point of interest. So that is 6 hours a day traveling. Our room was very hot and stuffy. Most hotels do not have a/c here, but Rock Lake did not even offer a room fan. They also keptt the downstairs fireplace going which added to the heat in the rooms above it. High temperatures were in the low 80's!! No amenities were in our room, not even cups or glasses. No coffee or ice available. Very loud with no insulation between the rooms or floors. All the lodge bedrooms are above the bar, dining and meeting area, adding to the noise. Our trash can was never emptied. In summary, we paid for four nights but left after two. Better to lose the money and save the vacation. And maybe this is a coincidence, but both my wife and I had internet security issues the day we left the lodge. Only one electrical outlet in our room.
D	Daniel Friedman on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is pretty good if you want a secluded cabin in the woods. Cabins are clean, come with a queen bed + bunk beds, a mini fridge, and microwave. Bring plenty of your own food. The food at the lodge is good but expensive and only served at specific times. The road to get there is a long windy dirt road so make sure you have a car that can handle it.
T	T G on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rock Lake Lodge is a nice rustic, off-the-beaten-path place about an hour from Hinton. The decor aims for a sort of large log cabin and it works. They have a kitchen featurijg an actual chef who made me one of the best hamburgers Ive ever eaten and the staff was helpful in making sure I was comfortable. They offer guided Horse and fishing tours out around the lake. If you want a backwoods retreat, this place is a solid experience.
W	Wolf Cross Adventures on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff were amazing, very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were a good size with comfy and good sized beds. The food was, out of this world. Finally the location is beyond beautiful with mountains on all sides and elk that wander through behind the lodge.
L	Lauren Hill on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quite and cool place to get away from the crowds. It is fun to relax and enjoy the nature and company. There is only wifi in the main Lodge, and it is free. There are board and card games also available at the lodge for you to use. The food is pricey since you are so far into the woods. It ranged from $28 to $40 a meal and the serving sizes were not large, but tasted good.

The Lodge has absolutely everything you need for a great weekend with the guys, close to great fishing as well. The caretaker Ian was awesome and delivered us everything we needed whenever we called, guy is a huge beauty. We were only a group of 10-13 guys and could have easily slept another 20-30 people.

Usually we spend all winter together as our kids race but summers not as much, this allowed us all to stay in once place together! Rooms were perfect, cabins amazing, the main house had the perfect space for everyone to hang out, a commercial kitchen for our giant potluck dinner and views that were outstanding. Not one detail was missed in this place! Highly recommend for a big family weekend get away/reunion, friends that want to be outdoors and anyone who needs to get off the grid a bit!
