I’m writing this as a prewarning to anyone considering camping at this campground. First let’s begin talking about the campground it’s self. It is very much like an RV storage park where there is a looped road with trailers right next to one another with very little room or space of your own. You will hear and see and run into your neighbours more then wanted. No privacy. Next I’d like to touch base on is the consistent rule changing and adding new rules that were not in the initial contract. For example they added that your water must be turned off at night, AC must be off in your not in the trailer, and you are responsible for watching and waiting for the automatic security gate to close securely behind you to make sure no one else gets into the camp ground. Not to mention they regulated the amount of garbage we were allowed to throw out. The list goes on. Keep in mind we pay a hefty monthly fee for power, water and garbage disposal. But almost immediately after signing the contract we were stripped of almost everything we were promised. Now my main issue. My husband signed with this campground due to him working away from home and needing a place to stay. He was there from May2020-Till mid August 2020. Within that time he followed all the rules paid in full every month however the worst thing that could happen, did. Due to Covid he lost his job in Edmonton. Now he made sure to tell Management immediately of his layoff with 2 weeks notice of him needing to leave because we could no longer afford it and he was looking for another job. Not only did we find out he was laid off but we also found out we have a baby on the way. My husband explained the situation and Management said that’s shouldn’t be a problem there is another family eager to take your spot. Putting us at ease knowing it’ll be a smooth transition for them. We paid our final month in full but left around the middle of the month giving them two weeks notice and returned the trailer to the rental company with 5 days to spare. We were later informed 2 weeks later we needed to pay for the following month and that they wanted us to Pay for the month we weren’t using the lot even though management said someone else was going to take it. We left a message explaining our income doesn’t allow us to do so as the pandemic left us both with our work and we are trying to keep food on the table for our 5year old son and save for the baby on the way. Not only did they demand for the money one more months payment but they proceeded with a threat to sue. The amount of financial stress this has put on myself and my family is unbearable. We left due to no income and now we just received a notice that we are getting sued for 1500 dollars for time we weren’t even in the park even though one month is 780 ?!?! know every one is money hungry, and if we had it we would pay it and make this all go away even though we aren’t even staying there just for the lack of headache But we can’t. We are good people and always paid on time in full with no issues. And we gave notice we were leaving as soon as we knew. I’m at a loss with this campground. Please do not go. It’s not worth it. They claim to be family oriented but to me they are all just money hungry. Will be contacting media and legal assistance to get the message out and resolve this bogus charge and all my social media will be posted along with reviews.

After seeing a rant on the Facebook groups about this place trying to sue their customers I thought I should share my experience with this “company” . My cousin got a place there for a few months this year and they failed to mention the was a nude beach right next door !! I mean I’m all for naturists and I think it’s awesome. But I feel like that should be disclosed before they take your money. Instead I had my 7 year old run over to me hysterically crying about seeing naked people close by in the river bed. Definitely shady business here ! Spread the word.

Riverside RV park has been my happy place for 4 years now. Not only are there miles of trails to hike and easy access to the river for kayaking, it is just 15 minutes from my home in Edmonton! Needless to say we spend lots of time there. The fireflies in June are a must see!

Has a great location with access to the river and a couple swimming holes. Trails were there but not very well maintained. Main complaint would be the on-site management. On our stay we had multiple incidents that were very peculiar for a site manager. A lack of signage on the property makes some rules unknown unless told.

A real treasure just minutes from the city along the North Saskatchewan River. It’s a fantastic place to skip away for the weekend. Fish along the river. Hike the trails. Explore the valley with a vast number of fellow campers (over 85% of us return every year!). The owners of the park even organized hikes for us all so we could learn the trails plus meet some new neighbours! Really amazing. During the day the park is very busy at the beginning of the season with everyone working on their sites. At night the camp fires are roaring, stars are bright so we can sit back and look at them all without any sky pollution! Everyone respects the 10pm quiet time which I’m grateful for. Now, the owners, Karen and Dean are so helpful and really very kind to us all. They are locals who grew up in the area so the pride and knowledge of the river valley is fun to learn. Karen and Dean sure helped us with our lot as we cleared away old brush and made a really gorgeous lower sitting area along the creek. I mean it’s not even camping! It’s our home for the spring, summer and part of the fall. The sites are amazing. Huge really! I absolutely love how everyone at the property takes such pride in their space. I’ve been a full time RVer for almost three years, travelling to the US every winter so I’ve seen a fair amount of campgrounds. This is by far the truest of nature. I can’t get over how big the lots are! Every season just gets better and better. Elaine, Trevor and our two dogs Daisy & Devon!

This beautiful campground along the North Saskatchewan River is definitely 5 stars in my books! I have been visiting my mom and dad out there for three years and I am so impressed. It is very family-oriented and there are so many things to do in nature out there, such as a plethora of hiking trails to explore and kayaking and fishing along the river. When we go hiking we take a different route each time as there are so many trails to check out. The owners of this campground very obviously care about their tenants as they encourage the improved development of tenants' sites and overall promote a welcoming community atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this campground to those in search of a seasonal spot with a great community feel.

This is an absolutely beautiful RV Park! The lots are big and come with full hookup, there is an almost unlimited amount of trails for hiking and mountain biking (they hold ultra marathons here every fall), and it is very close to both Devon and Edmonton. You can definitely tell that it is kept with love and care. Highly recommended checking this place out!

I have had my lot here since they opened and I absolutely love this place! Its 15 minutes from home and the owners and staff are wonderful. I love the 60 + km of hiking trails and spend a lot of time there, and if i have any problems, they are always taken care of very quickly. The lots are very large and and you never feel crowded like some other places. Its been a great experience right from the start and I'll be there for a long while.
