M	Madeline Eisenberg on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a blast for a first time on the trail. The only thing to note is the conditions. The trail itself was nice, but basically impossible to skate on. That's partly due to the fact that we went on a day that was way more mild than expected, but the trail also looked like it hadn't been cleaned for hours. We would love to go back but are hesitant due to how much snow was on the ice. All in all, we would like to give it another chance at some point soon!

B	Brad Loker on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great experience, beautiful property. The ice was amazing, ignore the poor reviews as people don't understand how hard it is to maintain ice outdoors. Unlike the canal, you get to skate through nature, there are less people, the turns and small hills make the skate more interesting, there are lockers and nice shelves to store your boots, working toilets and great music! The owner chatted with us for a bit, SUCH a nice guy.

B	Brad Jackman on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lots of fun for all ages. Big parking lot. Lots of benches to put on your skates. Big enough for both hockey areas and just skating. Good for all skill levels as there is room to pass and areas along the paths to have a rest. The ice was better than I expected for outdoor skating. The hills are fun and scary at the same time.
K	Konrad on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overall good skating experience. In Ottawa area this is a nice option before the Rideau Canal skateway is open. Reasons why not 5 starts: - parking can fill up fast (after 2pm there was already too many vehicles) - parts of ice had holes, rocks sticking out)
L	Lyd Z on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love this place! Its a different kind of skating experience that is so fun to explore! The staff are so friendly and helpful. Instead of the straight, flat skate of the canal, RiverOak offers hills for all skill levels and winding paths. Just keep in mind that it is a skating trail made over the ground so it's impossible for the ice to be as perfect as arena ice! You're also allowed sticks and pucks, unlike the canal! Its the perfect place to hang out with friends or bring the family.
B	Brent Eyre on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great fun, we had a great day skating at RiverOak. Lots of parking, several places to put on your skates. They have washrooms on site. If you don't have skates you can rent them there. They also have helmets and snowshoes for rent. The trails are wide and well groomed with some slight uphill and downhill spots. There are about 3 areas cleared for playing shinny with nets. Best to bring your own stick and puck. There are multiple places to rest around the loop with either hay bales or benches. There is a food truck and a mini donut truck but the donut truck is only open on weekends. Overall a great place to spend a few hours or the day/evening. Some trails are lighted.
