The course was a good challenge. The island green par 3 9th hole was a tough hole with a cross wind. The only negative for me was the greens. They were pretty fast, which is fine, but were pretty beat up. Staff were friendly and cheerful. Enjoyed my round and would play it again.

What a hidden gem! Course is in great shape. River valley was a challenge. Friendly staff. Cart girl was great. We had a good conversation about the course and how this year they put in nearly 600 trees. Hope to be back before seasons over

First time golfing at this course. It was a nice course to play other than very loud music being played from other golfers carts. They pulled up behind us and continued playing music as we were teeing off. We could hear them coming every hole. Very frustrating. No marshal to he seen out on the course. Play also became extremely slow as there were players that were part of a tournament in front of us, obviously had been drinking, very loud and slow. Waiting up to 15 minutes to play. Maybe this was bad luck on our part, love the tournament idea, but get a marshall out there to keep things in line. Very unfair and disrespectful to other paying players.

Won't golf here again for several reasons: 1. Staff was very unfriendly from the get go, waitress/pro shop worker was frustrated when we ordered drinks. Starter rushed us along to the first tee even though we were on time and then we still had to wait for 10 minutes to tee off. 2. Pace of play was awful, 8 minute intervals is way too tight. It really felt like a city course, pushing as many people through to make a buck. 3. Carts are way out of date and frankly dangerous, both carts hardly had brakes and one made a terrible grinding noise. This was the second and last bad experience i have had here which is very upsetting beacuse the course itself is very nice and challenging.

The course layout is nice, and they planted new trees which will pay off dividends in future years. They also made hole #4 significantly better with the water feature and new approach. The prices are good for food, golf and carts. The club has an abundance of tournaments and club mixers. The membership group out there was comprised of numerous good people. The greens are in bad shape, previous cup locations have been scalped as whoever is moving around the pin locations is not pushing them down enough or too much. There are also old pin positions that are way lower then the ground around it, like an inch lower. There are greens where there could be 10 old cups that are poorly replaced. This can/does effect play. The tee boxes in particular on the back nine are in terrible shape. Some of the tee boxes literally have no grass and are all dirt and loose soil. Some feel like you are teeing up on the moon. These are not exclusive to the par 3’s where some wear is expected due to divots. The pro shop staff have some friendly and competent employees that really make you feel welcomed and taken care of. Unfortunately there are a couple employees that are there just to collect a paycheque and it shows. They are grumpy and make you feel that your presence is an annoyance. They lack an extensive pro shop for golf equipment. Their restaurant is fine but their menu only includes about 10 items. Overall the club feels like you are playing a regular city/municipal course.

Great golf course and it's close to the city and very easy to get to.
