C	Carolyn Saunders on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My grandmother deteriorated so quickly in this facility. We moved her as soon as we could and she got managed to recover and live for many years after. This is a place you go to die, not a place to live the rest of your life.

l	lisa pilger on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This home is very outdated. Staff have very little to work with and no support from management. Residents suffer due to extreme staff shortages. Im not talking just the normal shortages in healtcare. Im talking staff doing doubles on regular basis and still being short staff. Staff are overworked and treated poorly.Overall i dont recommend this home for your loved one. The atmosphere is not a warm friendly enviromment...rather a chaotic angry atmosphere. Staff have very low morale and i have witnessed first hand management mistreating staff.Good home starts with good management and i rate this home as poor!

I have spent a lot of time on the second floor with my father that had Alzheimer's. The staff are loving and attentive, they treated my dad so well. The fact of it smelly like urine..yea it happens but before you go and write a bad review based on what?? One visit..educate yourself. Hats off to all the men and woman that strive and obtain excellence at River Glen Haven.
R	Robin Dowdall on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have worked here for 10 yrs and yes we do work short like every other home.sometimes it does feel overwhelming but in a whole all of my colleagues I work with are wonderful and work very hard to take care of the elderly. 2nd floor is a Alzheimer's unit and more times then not it is very difficult to engage to get them to comply to brief change which means it sometimes takes time. We work very hard and care for them like they were our own family. I'm very confident that the care is great building is old but in a whole it is a good place and I have placed my family here and would definitely do it again. 2 thumbs up ladies and gents you all rock

At 92 my mother is very well looked after and is still active and takes part in group games, music events and enjoys the television programming. The outdoor facilities are nice to enjoy in the spring, summer and fall.

My aunt was palliative and did end up passing away while at the home. The staff was incredible to her and my family while we waited for her to pass.

I can never find or have enough amazing words for the PSWs and Nurses along with all the other staff and volunteers at this long term care home! As my aunt was passing I watched a PSW spend hours walking the hall hand in hand with another resident- the way the staff treated my family and myself during our difficult time made it so much easier to endure! As a PSW myself I can honestly say the staff here go above and beyond and truly care!
