Her pragmatic treat based positive encouragement approach works really well with Finnegan. We really appreciate her follow up support material she provides as per our questions that arise during training sessions. We feel that Holly has given us many tools to help us make Finnegan a confident, well adjusted and well behaved grown up chihuahua. She has also given us the confidence needed to know that we will make it through puppy adolescence

She was super helpful getting us off to a good start and being first time dog owners, gave excellent advice on puppy raising. As time went on we continued to work with Holly as we discovered that our dog had some issues around fears and she gave me several training techniques and was adaptable to our dogs needs. I would highly recommend Holly for those with happy go lucky pups and also those pet owners in need of help with specific behavioural issues.

I liked how the lessons were succinct and easy to understand. We were given enough time to practice each skill each class. Holly and Maraysha gave constructive feedback when we were practicing the skills every class. I enjoyed how small the classes were and how each puppy got individualized feedback. They really catered to each dogs needs each class. Choppy and I have learned a lot of skills to use in the real world. I highly recommend River District training ?

First we did a zoom meeting and she helped us set up a schedule for Cohen and sent such a thorough follow up email that really helped us learn so many aspects of being puppy parents and how to train our puppy. We then had in-person training sessions with Holly and she's a puppy whisperer! She lets you decided what you want to work on and by the end of the hour Cohen was so much better at what we were focusing on. It also really helps watching a professional interact with your dog so you can learn proper techniques and how to react to certain behaviours. We would highly recommend Holly for puppy training!

Holly's instructions were very clear, and we were given enough time to practice each exercise during which Holly and her assistant trainer Maraysha observed how we were doing closely and gave feedback constantly. Different dogs may react differently. I like how Holly and Maraysha gave me personalized tips tailored to Aster and what to work on specifically for each skill. On a side note, I also like that the class size is small and the classroom is spacious. We also did a group walk with Holly, and it was fun and engaging with Holly giving feedback and tips during the entire walk.

She is able to answer and address ALL your concerns. She successfully brought our fearful dog out of his “shell”. Our puppy is a pandemic puppy, not used to visitors or strangers. She was the first pandemic visitor we had and he was so happy and looked forward to train and play with her, just after a few sessions.
