I would not recommend Dr Kailia to anyone Thanks for the misdiagnosis, general awful care, no follow ups to referrals that were never sent and denying me the one test that actually showed what was wrong with me. Thanks for wasting my time, and stealing pain free months from my life by refusing my MRI

Dr. Kailia and his amazing staff have changed my life. For 5 years or more I was in the most excruciating, agonising, never ending pain. Sometimes the pain was so severe I would cry. Each night when I lied down to (try to) sleep the pain became even worse. For years I wasn't able to sleep more than an hour or two at a time. All of this takes a toll, changing one's personality and outlook on life. In a matter of a few months my pain level was reduced to a fraction of what it was. I continue to work on strengthening and mobility. I realise this will take time but now I have hope. For the life of me I cannot understand why there are not more facilities such as Rise. Why are most physicians only willing to recommend medication and surgery? IMHO once you start down this road it is a slippery slope. No judgement here as I total respect the choices of others and that everyone's pain tolerance is different. What is more cost effective for MSP? Being treated at a pain clinic or having a major surgery for joint replacement and follow up therapy? Which has more complications and side effects? With our medical system already stretched thin we need to look at alternatives to traditional medicine especially when they are so very effective. I, along with other posters here, are living proof. The staff is always friendly and accommodating and most importantly, kind. They will bend over backwards to work with your schedule and are top rate communicators, often answering my email on a Sunday! Thank you to everyone there! You are changing people's lives for the better.

I had an unavoidable emergency and missed my appointment, first time ever. Now they want $80 to get my prescription to the pharmacy and won't give me an appointment for 6 weeks. The manager was only concerned about being able to bill MSP and not that my meds run out in 4 days. Seems like they are more concerned with money than their patients well being. I will not be returning.

Rise has made my quality of life so much better!!! From my intake to diagnosis to treatment following with advice on exercises and activities to follow between visits. Dr. Vince was a pleasure, it was sad to see him go. He would talk to me about my issues, then he would consult Dr Kailia during each of my visits, and the combined knowledge has made my treatments effective. My pain has not disappeared, but has been much more manageable.!!!! The medical staff is top notch, and the front desk staff absolutely rocks!!!! Thank you Rise!!! Z F

Dr Kalia and his incredible staff have single handedly saved my life and taken me from a broken mental and physical state to feeling empowered, giving me solutions and knowledge to heal. Before becoming his patient I never had words to understand what was happening to me or know how to not push my body too far too fast in my attempts to heal from fibromyalgia and central sensitization syndrome. I am forever grateful for the compassion of this facility and the healing efforts that they provide. I would highly recommend their treatments, advice, chronic pain yoga, chronic pain group therapy and somatic therapy. Thank you!

Great staff and friendly.Was in Honorable pain for over 8 months as my family doc had misdiagnosed my back pain. Rise BC Wellness Center Had me 90% better within 2 weeks with the proper diagnosis and treatment. Be sure you go here for chronic pain treatment they are very professional and give you lots of options so you can choose what works for you. Thanks again Rise

I have been a patient of Dr J for years and cannot thank him and his staff enough. Aleta , as well as staff in previous years have always been more than helpful and understanding. They give many options and are willing to explore these options in order to help and find relief for chronic pain and the issues that come with it. Once again Thank you for the help and support that I have received over the years.5 stars plus.!!

Dr. Kailia Traveled from Cranbrook to Nelson and told over the phone a family member was going to get a cortisone shot. When we arrived the doctor had changed his mind and said he doesn't believe in giving cortisone shot. We don't care what he believes. Never gave us a solution.
