β β β β β I started to fade and then I met Risa. For once in my life I felt there was someone who had a true compassionate curiousness about me and she taught me how to do that for myself. As if she were gently guiding a mirror to show me parts of myself I couldnβt see and didnβt want to, or know how to explain, she helped me heal. She helped me find myself after being lost for so long from unresolved trauma. If youβre struggling with your mental health and are tired of the care that doesnβt care, thank goodness for Risa. She has the vast knowledge of the mind, the wise love of the heart, and most importantly the empathy of a healer.

β β β β β I did not even get to meet with Risa. Because I did not make payment on June 1st for appointments on June 6th and June 20th, she cancelled the appointments morning of June 2nd. We did not discuss paying beforehand and it came as a surprise to me. Had she had the decency to follow up with me instead of just taking away my appointments it would have been more clear and I would have paid. I was really looking forward to meeting with her. Disappointed for sure.
Response to owners comment: leaving a bad review is not harassment. Sorry you feel that way. My friend saw me crying and got mad. I do not control the actions of others.

β β β β β In my experience, the only mental health professional that has structured therapy to assure that the patient feels heard and supported. Risa is a gifted psychotherapist. Cannot recommend her enough.

β β β β β Be prepared to pay WEEKS before your sessions as Risa will cancel all appointments if not. It can be difficult for anyone struggling with mental health to reach out for help and to be cancelled on because you didn't pay two weeks before your appointment is very disheartening.
Response to Owner: You do not need to know who I am for this review to be accurate. You cancelled appointments later in June because payment was not made by June 1st. My review still stands.
